Great work horse

This car served me very well for a number of years. It was able to transport a heavy load with minimal effort. It was extremely comfortable to ride. Only downside was limited acceleration.

Has 220000 and only let us down one day when

I think the electronics could be much more simple, so difficult to pinpoint a bad fuse. Less us more in my opinion. Just take time to rewire some switches.

Numerous electrical problems

I have had numerous electrical problems and I have noticed this has been an issue for Jeeps throughout the years. I spent over a thousand dollars on this issue and the problem re-occurred within months. (The issue was an electrical short that caused alarm to be activated.)

I couldn't be happier

I haven?t had this car for very long, but it?s everything I could want. It?s spacious, comfortable, and rides exceptionally well. And with it only have 105000 some odd miles when I purchased it, I feel like I?d be able to drive this forever.

Extremely reliable

This car is older than I am and still runs like a champ. This is a prime example that Jeeps run forever. Very fun and reliable.

One Very Tough vehicle

224,000 miles on an original V8 model, with no oil consumption. Has original trans.*(with 2 overhauls, one to add shift kit and HD Dodge Ram output sprag, etc.) but this one gets Heavy duty use. Garaged and kept clean, and body has not rusted. 17MPG average, Canadian border climate with very cold winters, heavy snow fall and has a great heater. It also runs through the back roads of the Black Hills of SD in winter and summer. An all around REAL SUV. These are bullet proof vehicles, needing normal maintaining. Have a newer one that isn't ell built. Will happily pull an ATV or light trailer but the tranny is NOT made for the bigger RV campers. It will run all day on the interstate at 70-75 mph. A family of 4 all around vehicle. If you find a clean one with no dents, or signs of hard use..no fear in buying one of these. only gripe...is the spare tire location in the back cargo area. I mount it on Trailer Hitch carrier (w/locks) when I need the full area.
