I purchased it used in 2022, it had 76k and now has 96 in 2025. It's 4wd with the 5.7 Hemi in the Overland trim. It hasn't given me any trouble.

Too many costly repairs.
I have a 2015 Grand Cherokee Limited. I bought it with 82,000 miles on it. Fast Forward 3 years later and I’ve only put 18,500 miles on it and I’ve had to replace the water pump, serpentine belt, radiator, and catalytic converter and exhaust manifold. It has barely over 100,000 miles and I’ve had all of these issues. All maintenance has been done per factory recommendations. I do not recommend a Jeep. Can’t wait to trade it in.

Not my old Cherokee
Summit has no badging to denote it, not a big deal for me. As a self help guy, I found that items were really pushed into tight places... headlights are really pain to replace. It would be nice if there where more reliable units that worked longer!(i have CJ5 that has light units that have been working for twenty plus years and I do not have to have stitches after replacing them). Front seat lumbar support bags feel like stiff plastic coke bottles cracking. Dealer said it is not their issue. ALL FOUR door hinge stops/detents have failed. Doors do not stay in place when opened and have closed at unexpected times injuring my wifes knees. These are NOT servicable units. No grease fittings, no replaceable parts. Our dealer has no way to replace these.BAD design. My 1978 Cherokee Chief doors still stop right where they are supposed to stop. Jeep/Chrysler is offering no help to correct this.It may be something I can do but not sure about gambling on that heavy door aligning correctly. I rotate all five tires. It took our dealer three weeks to get full sized unit, but to my chagrin.... it would not fit in tire well!! Had to do some surgery with a dremmel tool and heat gun. Another oversight. We have had three other modern Cherokees and have installed nose guards(Bras) and mud flaps. Tried to do the same with this one. Yipes!! Tried several times to get these installed at home. I had dealer check part numbers to make sure they were correct. They told me I was not skilled in the proper way to put these on. (28 year military helicopter mechanic here) I finally gave in and made an appointment to PAY the dealer to put them on. Three hour wait finally got me this from technician.... "you have the wrong units, both bra and flaps". Parts department took another half hour to find out Chrysler never made these for the Summit package.I wonder what else they are going to try to sell me that will not fit. They would not take them back as they were a special order. After 23000 miles to date(DEC 2022) we are hoping to get our monies worth out of this and shop better next time
