Parts availability - Jeep not making body parts

I love my new Jeep Grand Cherokee Summit Reserve extended. Purchased it in the fall of 2022. On December 26th 2022, I was backed into in a parking lot. Both passenger doors need to be replaced. The body shop and the Jeep Dealership that has ordered the parts but cannot get the doors (backordered), and Jeep is not even giving a date when they will be available. Apparently not making them yet. Very frustrating. If you are going to provide a new body style, then should there not be parts available to repair a vehicle. I have essentially a brand new vehicle that cannot be repaired. Love the brand, am very disappointed in Jeep part practices. I have also had issues many with the radio system. It is always acting up in different ways. I have taken it in and the dealership indicates they can find no issue. Be very careful. If you purchase this vehicle, you may not be able to get parts if it is damaged.

Before you buy one, please read…

We purchased our 2023 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited 4x4 on January 16,2023. Within 22 days the full camera system has gone out w/1280 miles, and the Jeep currently has thirteen codes in the ECM. The ParkSense Module is on a Nationwide Backorder, and Jeep Customer Service is Horrible!! So we went out on February 13 to start our Jeep in our garage the battery was totally dead, finally charge it up enough to start it let it run over two hours and shut it off. Then the Mrs’s goes out to go to work at the hospital {Works for a Emergency Room, can’t really just call in} and boom Jeep is totally dead again. I jump the Jeep again after two hours and my wife is late for work after she had to get a ride into work, the Jeep finally starts but now the check engine light is on. So the next afternoon on February 15, we go out to start the Jeep totally dead, after two hours the Jeep will only click. So I had called Jeep Customer Service on February 7, 13, 14, still no call back and so I call again on February 15,2023 and informed them that our Jeep was dead in the garage and they said our caseworker would call us back in ten minutes” but for me to call a tow truck because they don’t know what we want them to do about our Jeep that isn’t working. So I had to set up towing for February 16, @6:45am, and of course Jeep didn’t call us back. But I finally went to the dealership on February 20, 2023 and the service manager informed me that our Jeep has a 8 Amp Constant Draw when the Jeep is turned off, they don’t have any idea what is causing the problem and for us to just wait. So the dealership has had our Jeep 19 days, we have had to make our first Jeep payment {Which sure aren’t cheap by any means} and we have only been able to drive it 22 days without issues, but Jeep doesn’t want to pay for a rental or anything… they want you to just sit around and wait till they figure it out. ***SAVE YOUR MONEY DON’T BUY A NEW JEEP GRAND CHEROKEE***

Great car, great place to purchase a vehicle.

I love my new Jeep Grand Cherokee L 2023. This car is great in the snow, I have a very steep driveway and I have no problems. The car is also great on gas. The camera has views on all sides of the car which makes me feel very safe. Bought this car at Milford Chrysler Sales I have to say is a great group of employees. Thank you, Jim, my salesman, Joe and Jeremy for all your help.

Jeep Grand Cherokee L is the best family car I've ever owned. It has a third line and it is very spacious, very nice to drive. Thanks to the group of people who work at Champions dealership
