Great first car for my Daughter

This car is exacally what my daughter wanted! It has a manual, sky roof, and the upgraded stereo. We searched long and hard for it, and found it at Mike Smith Toyota in KY. If you need a car I would ask for Ashley she will help you out!

I love this little Jeep!

This is a very practical vehicle. A small SUV that goes offroad, but also great in the city or highways. It?s fuel-efficient, compact, but roomy.

Very disappointed in my purchase

This was my first new car purchase and I am extremely disappointed in the Jeep Renegade. After owning the brand new car for only a year and a half, my car began to shut off as I was driving. A series of tests took place and it turned out that a new engine needed to put in. Again, a brand new car with only 27,000 miles on it. About a week later, the car began to do the same thing but no diagnosis was given. Thankfully it hasn't happened since but two months later, a large piece of the air conditioner came loose and my car overheated, in turn, causing another engine service. There have also been other minor incidences such as a portion of the front grill coming off along with the J in JEEP on the front of the car. Although I like the overall appearance and comfort of this car, it is extremely unreliable and would not recommend that anyone purchase it.

Wind shields get ready to replace

I wished I had done more research. Two wind shields and 60.00 to replace a burnt bulb. That bulb had been burnt out even after they replaced a modular the first 3 weeks of owning now burnt bulb. And have not owned 2 years Old. Wow.

Practical and Fun

I no longer have a 2.5 hour commute each day, so I was no longer fixating on MPG. I have liked the look of the Renegade and only had heard good things from people who have owned Jeep vehicles. I took my Renegade for a test drive and it was love within the 1st mile. I have been blown away by the all the great options, from the seating with lumbar support, heated seats, the dual climate control, hands free calling, amazing sound system and both a driver and backseat sun roof. Plus, I like the gas milage I'm getting, it's as good as my husband's Escape. I love this vehicle because it so fun to drive.

Perfect for me, but maybe not for eveyone

This is a little tank. It is built well and it has all the toys. The exterior is cute and I have the white and orange interior which is unique and I love it. The leather is awesome. It could use a bit more horsepower but it does have some pep to it. Climbing is where the extra power is needed. It slows down when climbing a steep grade but under normal circumstances it has plenty of power. I drove a Mustang convertible before this car. Giving up 300+ horses was tough but doable. I broke my back and could not get in and out of the Mustang without screaming in pain. It had to go. I was looking for a seat in a car that I could afford. The Renegade was it. I didn't have to climb or squat to get in or out of the car. The seats are firm and can be tilted to sit straight. And they are heated!! What more could I ask for. For back problems, this is a great car and the price was right. A great value, especially if you can take advantage of cash back offers and rebate offers. The only problem someone else might have is the fact that is is noisy. I came from a convertible. I was use to the noise, but some may not be. This is a noisy car. If you open only one window, there is a flapping sound that will drive you nuts. If you crack one of the other windows, it goes away. I got the removable moon roofs because I couldn't give up the convertible completely. It is very loud with the front roof panel open ,(louder that the Mustang with the top down). Aerodynamically it could use some improvement but if you can handle the noise it is a great car. One of the best I have owned. I bought the car for the seats, but fell in love with the rest of it. I would buy another one in a heartbeat.
