Very impressed

I was very impressed with the Kia Sorento EX. The handling is great and the look is very sporty. I bought it immediately after i test drove it..

Instead of a Ford

After being treated really badly by a Ford dealer whom we had purchased 6 vehicles from we decided to look at the KIA Sorento for two reasons; my daughter owned one and a lady at the gas pumps gave a glowing review. We got a lot more bang for our buck, the dealer was very nice. After a month of driving it we love the extra room for our 5 great grandkids. The 4 cyl engine is a little wimpy but the mileage makes up for it. Less road noise than our other vehicle. Cons: touch screen can be very distractive. A lot of info is available, but sometimes difficult to find. Speedo is off about 2mph and the left rear passenger door vibrates/buzzes at speed. Overall initial impressions are good. We shall see how it works down the road.

Look good from the outside but ..

The car looks great from the outside , very bold design. The design inside is good but it is depend on personal choice , driver seat is the most comfortable seat in many cars i had driven , second row is good ,too ...But the third row is not as big and comfort as the 2017 Toyota Highlander . The engine is powerful but you can hear the knocking when the car start for the first couple minute but after couple minutes, it goes very quiet as expect, but the 2017 Toyota Highlander feel a little stronger at depart...The ride is quiet but not as quiet as my 2017 Toyota Camry. Here come the thing i feel the a little strange...The transmission. I noticed the RPM sudden jump high from 2,000 rpm to 3000 rpm when gear change from first to second ...not as smooth as the Highlander and the 2017 model only has 6 speed trans...the Highlander has 8 speed. It is a good all around If compare dollar value with other name brand car companies , but it is still hard to decide with your hard earn money. Personally , i picked 2017 Toyota Highlander over The 2017 Sorento because the dollar value Toyota has offer like... New engine , new transmission, Toyota Safety sense standard. But the new 2018 Sorento might have better value.

very quiet car-powerful engine

Meets my car requirements of AWD and room/comfort. I like the long 10 years 100,000 mile warranty. I like the dashboard layout. The radio plays very good.
