They do not hold their value. Mine fishtails when.
I have to keep it cs u can,t even get half what u paid 2 or 3 yr.s later. It was under warantee and was in the shop 25 days. They put 2,000 mi.s on it trying to get the engine to work rite so thelite would go off!

A great used car.
I bought this used and have had it for ~ 5 years. The drawbacks: seats are too short for 6'1" driver under the thighs. And there's no all wheel drive available (the driving is terrible in even light snow). The computer display could be larger and angled toward the driver. I find this vehicle to be well made, it's 2 liter engine and automatic transmission are well designed and function well. As one would expect in this small car, the ride can be rough on uneven/broken pavements. I bought this vehicle used for $16000. The dealer offered about $5500 in a trade. I wouldn't trade this for the world. It has a sunroof, leather seats (heated in the front), and blue tooth, Sirius radio (which I canceled as they screwed me when I had a lifetime contract), a competent sound system, fog lights, and rearview camera (somewhat of a problem in wet weather).

Very fun to drive!
Superior fuel economy, and surprising amount of room inside. Solid for a small car. I'm 6'1" tall with room to spare. Very safe car with awesome parking lot ability. Has a tight turning radius.

Not reliable at all
I have owned my Kia Soul 2012 manual 4c for about 3 months now, and already I have spent maybe 3,000 into to fixing the car, excluding my car payments. In the first 2 weeks of owning the car, the clutch literally melted. MELTED. I am a very careful driver and half of the time I don’t even press the gas Have my car roll, I know my clutch’s pad very well. That it-self was a 1600 fix, about 2 weeks after my coil burned out as well as all my spark plugs another 600 fix. Again, I had no idea how this was happening for I am a very careful driver and take good care of my car. Fast forward to 1 month later, my whole entire starter went out, ALL the way out, it wouldn’t even try. Again, another 500 fix. Fast forward to today and yet again another problem, though I may be overreacting, it may be nothing, my car is of course making weird noises and acting weird during gear changes, and speedometer will not move, either way I am very frustrated with my experience having this car. I don’t know if the owner before this car just took very horrible care of it, If you purchase a Kia Soul be sure the get insurance on repairs because it may come very handy

I love this car!!
So far this car has been an amazing experience. It's got enough room for both of my kids in carseats and room to fit one more! It's been great to drive, it's quiet, and can pick up speed when you need it to! It's also very roomy in the front seats as well! I'm short and fat but my boyfriend is a giant standing at 6'4" and we're both very comfortable in it. Best car I've ever owned!

All around fun little car
We purchased this car new in 2012 and now deciding to sell in 2019. 7 years of worry free ownership. Changed the tires, battery, and the starter, and never had a major issue. Did have two issues with the radio, both were covered under the warranty from Kia. All in all, comfortable, affordable, fun little car. Served us well for 7 years. No complaints.

ABSOLUTELY NO MAJOR PROBLEMS EVER!
I love this car. It's just the right size for me and my two dogs. It's zippy, comes with Bluetooth, and lots of safety features. An additional benefit is the extended warranty period which is great for a single lady. The final winning feature is the excellent service at any dealership I have visited while traveling. My only complaint is a shortage of storage space, but that kind of comes with the size of the vehicle.

Cute and fuel efficient
This is the best car I could've had for my first car purchase, especially since it's used. I wanted something with four doors that was higher off the ground than a sedan, and I knew from riding in one before that there would be plenty of interior space. Hearing from friends who had previously owned one, I was confident it would be a good decision. My biggest surprise is how much I save on gas as compared to my last car, only needing to refuel every three weeks or so even though I use it daily. Very good car.

Too quick a decision...
Bought it from WPB Schumacher. Bad customer svce. Alignment issues til now, 6 mos later. Problem in steering column which is repairable for like $260, but Delray Kia refuses to fix!! Excuse is that warranty ran out!!!! Shows you how much Kia stands behind their products. The problem is a back and forth clicking in the steering and apparently common, but Kia could not care less!!!!! They even, at first had the gaul to try to charge me a $65 diagnostic fee. Will never buy ANY Kia again. Problem is that now I am stuck with pymts for the next 5 yrs....
