Good looking and has all the safety features avail

car is great with good visibility especially with the Prestige package birds eye views/cameras for parking. Every proven safety collision avoidance option at a good price. Looks and feels like a 75-80K SUV (think Range rover upper end or Mercedes (we own a E350 Mercedes)). A lot more comfortable than the Toyota Highlander. For the negatives: Going above MSRP, gas mileage and tank size will only allow ~370 miles/fill-up. a little hard for even our grandkids to get into the 3rd row.

Everything I thought it would be

The Telluride seems to be an exceptional vehicle for the price (ours is an S model which stickered around $36 K). Had the opportunity to drive it from Florida to New Mexico and it was very comfortable. More comfortable than the 2014 Yukon Denali I owned previously. Lots of head and legroom, which is important to me at 6’5”. If you put down the third row seating, there’s more cargo space than you will ever need. Adaptive cruise control and Lane Keeping Assist both worked great. We averaged a bit more than 27 mpg highway on the trip west and over 29 mpg on the trip back east. Assuming the difference was attributed to the fact we went from sea level to 5000’ ASL westbound and vice versa on our return. Highly recommend the Telluride.

Cool Tech - Love the 360 view when parking

The 2020 Telluride replaced out 2012 Honda Pilot. What an upgrade - the dashboard technology, Blind Spot Warning, other safety stuff, USB ports for kids in back, and that 360 View when parking is excellent.

Luxury SUV for far less than competitors

Where do I begin? Love my Telluride. I have the SX AWD which rides like a dream with all the extras you could want: push button folding 2nd row seats, USB ports galore, adjustable second row seat with ample legroom for my husband who is 6’4”, soft leather seats throughout, fold down seats that fold straight down that does not takeaway from having to adjust front seats, safety features second to none, cup holders aplenty, heated and ventilated seats, powerful V6, ample storage even behind 3rd seat, 3rd is roomier than any I’ve had before, and lastly the gas mileage at an average of 24-26 miles to the gallon city and highway and that’s with AWD. It also has a towing capacity of 5k lbs. I am beyond impressed with this car and all it’s features. The biggest bonus is the warranty. It’s competitors are the standard 3/36.

Greatest value for fully loaded SUV out there.

Love this car. Extremely comfortable, has all the options available in its category and then some. So many safety features it is unbelievable. Plenty of power and handling is great.

Nice car with good set of features. EX FWD version

Big boxy vehicle. Easily noticed due to the exterior design and big round all time lights. Could have had more features as EX costs about 39k and more. Pros 1. Seat configuration. I have captain seats in both front and second row 2. Nicely laid out dash. Looks rich 3. Super smooth transmission. I never felt a jerk. My odo is currently at 1300 miles. Break in is at 600 miles per handbook. But I am waiting till 2000 miles for break in. 4. I average around 21 in normal traffic. With bumper- bumper, about 17 or may be low that that I guess. 5. Still more things to explore. LOL 6. Voice command is top notch. Observations: 1. The auto start-stop does not work sometimes. I had to disengage and activate it a couple of times on occasions. I mostly use it on roads that have long red lights. 2. The backup warning is quite friendly esp. is busy parking lots as now-a-days reckless parents let go of their kids who run behind the cars. However, in my car, the vibrations due to back up warning are super strong. They literally vibrate the driver window. 3. The air vent is the second row puts out cold air when temp is set to 72. Only spits warm air when the air flow is set to "face" only. 4. The forward collision warning works only when the car in the front departs the lane (like when the front slows down to make a turn). BUT DOES NOT work when the car in the front comes to a sudden stop. may be it works in cruise mode. Need to check it out. 5. The most annoying is the exhaust getting into the cabin when the tail gate is up. The exhaust shoots out of the pipes at 90 degree angle. May be it is alike in other SUVs, but for me it is quite annoying. Probably an exhaust redesign by KIA may sort it out. Especially when you are taking things out of the rear with the engine running, you could smell and inhale the exhaust. Might not be an issue to others owners though. 6. The buttons are aluminium steel or something. Finger prints and murk of the fingers is easily visible. Not a big deal of an issue, but just saying.

luxurious, stylish, and high tech

lots of car for the money! Lots of luxury and technology for under 50k. One of the best looking crossovers on the road, and the interior is beautiful and tasteful as well. Very happy so far!

Transmission failed

My wife and I bought a brand new Telluride and truthfully, we LOVE it. however, just after 10,000 miles the transmission completely fell apart. KIA did install a new one free of charge but why would this happen? I am a little concerned but overall we love the vehicle. I see that this happened to one other person on here. Anyone else have transmission issues?
