Good reliable car for a good price

If you are looking for an AWD car for a good price, please look no further. The Mazda CX-3 is a crossover/suv that will give you the bang for your buck. I own a 2016 CX-3 Grand Touring model. The exterior/interior has a sleek modern semi-luxury look that will satisfy your needs without breaking the bank. With it's LED lights and Adaptive Front Lighting system, you not only feel safer on the road, but also see clearer down the road. The only downside is the leg room for back seat passengers and small trunk space. But if you are not at all phased on the negatives, then this car is for you. Plus, this 4 cylinder will save you on gas mileage with an estimated EPA 29/35. Overall, you'll feel this car is for you with so many technological advancements put into this car.

2017 CX-3 Grand Touring =happy purchase

Cars is great, but wish the 2.0 I4 made about 185 horses would be great if they did because the engine is not very peppy. But I am still in the break in period. Handling is very good though. Interior looks fantastic, leather is top notch, dials look great also.

Cup holders

After driving my new Mazda and being really happy with it, one thing has bothered me. Why put the cup holders under the center armrest. They are completely unusable. With all the design work that went into this car to make it perfect and blow it this bad is just a crime. I know some will say, you shouldn't sip your latte while driving. Then let's also take out all the cell phone stuff in the car, reading a text, etc...

Piece of junk

The armrest snapped off in the cold weather, the dealer would not replace. ($185) Plastic trim behind the front wheel broke off, very cheaply made. Won't but another Mazda

Sporty looking car. Fun to drive!

This car meets my expectation with the exception of the rear passenger seat and the size of the cargo trunk.

Love the look

I just purchased a 2017 Mazda CX 3 and I like the way it drives and looks. On the other hand the interior just wasn't designed well. The cup holders under the arm rest is horrible. The first time I used them, my right shoulder hurt all day. The touch screen is not a touch screen when you are in motion and you have to hunt for other buttons when you want to change the radio or answer a phone call. I guess I will have to get use to these things.

Handling, fun to drive

Bought this in April of 2016 and wanted to do some winter driving before I made any comments. I love this car compared to my wife's Impreza. Sure, hers is a Sube and they have been around forever, but this CX-3 is fun to drive, not boring like her Sube and sits out in a parking lot among the others. I have the ceramic silver touring version and may go with the Grand Touring. I don't like the screen that juts up in the middle, hence the 4-star interior rating. It handles well on snow even with the factory tires. Corners well -- flip the switch for "sport" mode and impress the younger kids!!

Poor design and value terible performance

This car snap oversteers and tries to kill you at every chance. The awd system provides no extra traction. The back seat is a joke This car can uncomfortably seat three adults if the front passenger has no legs. The trunk space can barley fit five grocery bags with the seats up. The cup-holders and parking brake are located under the armrest causing clearance issues. compared to Mazda's usually good design this thing looks awful. the front splitter is not separate from the front bumper, so if you break it on a speed bump or while parking near a wall you will pay $350 for a new bumper before paint and labor. If you are looking at buying this car save the money and get the Mazda 3 hatch instead.

Feels like a sports car

Always wanted a sports car.....never in the budget. The Mazda 3 feels sporty and drives like a sports car. It has all the bells and whistles that I wanted. It is 1 1/2 weeks old and so far I love it.

Perfect, except for the armrest.

I very much like this car. It has everything I was looking for in a car for an affordable price. But It does have one big problem, the armrest in the door is terrible. It is very narrow compared to the armrest in other cars. It feels like I have no armrest to put my arm on when I am driving. I bought the sport version with out the center armrest. I would still recommend this car, but I would advise you to get the version that has the center armrest or it will feel like you have no armrest at all.
