This is my first new car and I love it. The sporty ride makes it fun to drive. It the perfect size for a short female with no kids. The interior comes standard with plenty of bells and whistles. Great sleek car for a great value!

The new mazda3 5-door is one of the best cars on the market for the money. I purchased a base Sport model and got in it for less than $20k (thanks to some Mazda incentives). The interior styling, design and ride quality is that of a car twice its price. I'm already getting nearly 40MPG and can't wait to see that rise as it gets broken in. Overall, A+ vehicle!

The car looked great and performed very well, however, the bucket seats were very small (6'/225lbs). I couldn't wait to get out.

Great responsibly fun car for a small family or a couple. Great for road trips or everyday commutes. Fit and finish is par or a great imitation of much more expensive european makers. Enough style and flash to make the driver feel like they are driving a nice car without breaking the bank or overly expensive maintenance requirements. Great gas milage with standard grade gas.

The Mazda3 is by the far the most attractive car in its class. It is an amazing and affordable compact car. The drive is the best in its class and it is a joy to drive. Inside the interior design is excellent. It is very ergonomic with knobs and buttons in all the right places for ease of use. The seats are very comfortable and it's extremely quiet inside. The powertrain is a little weak but the handling and steering is incredible. I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for an affordable compact commuter car.

This is a well put together compact car with many standard features. The fit and finish is very good. It has a 185 horsepower engine that is more than adequate to reach freeway speed with alacrity. The seats are comfortable, the interior looks like it would be at home in a much more expensive car. The fuel economy averages 21 mpg around town. We have enjoyed driving this tight little machine.

The ride is great, the interior is comfortable, it gets better gas mileage than the factory MPG, and it's sharp looking.

I can't say enough how please I am with the Mazda 3. It only took about 45 seconds of a test drive and I was sold. At one point I had a BMW 128i, and an Acura Legend. These were both considered high end sports cars. Yes they had more under the hood than the Mazda 3, but the Mazda has just as much pick-up as either of the others and handles better than both. Quick, light, agile and nimble... It WANTS to be driven hard and responds like a dream. Beautiful on the outside... Stylish, comfortable and roomy on the inside (I'm 6'0" and 215 lbs and love the fit). Manual trans is buttery smooth.

Great handling. Not as smooth a ride as I would like but average for this size car. Awkward placement of the control knob for all the electronics. If you have anything in the cup holder you have to maneuver around it to work the knob. Next upgrade should just let the touch screen be active all the time instead of just when stopped.

Love the new Mazda 3, handles well and is very comfy. The only thing I would change is the cover on the center console/armrest. Something leather with cushion would have been better that the sliding accordion style door.
