I bought my 2009 Mazda6 used with 35,000 miles in 2010. Now 2024, it has over 220,000 miles. The engine is still good. I change the oil every 10,000 miles with Mobil-1 synthetic oil. Between oil changes I add .8 of a quarts of oil. I keep the oil between .5 and .8 on the deep stick. i check the oil when the engine is cold. I replace the transmission fluid every 30,000 miles.

Fun Car to drive but way to many problems with it i own the 3.7 V6 and have problems weekly/monthly really makes you use a lot of money.

Love my 09 Mazda 6! It's a great sporty mom car. Enough room for my boys, fun and stylish for me. Was super excited it was a 6 speed

We purchased this vehicle over the Mazda3 due to the fact the insurance premiums were lower and upon review, it was due to the fact it was a safer overall vehicle. We were never disappointed. This was such a fantastic out of school value buy! Relatively low overall maintenance required aside from the major mileage milestones and regular wear and tear. It remained reliable as we drove it to the near 175K Mileage mark. Smooth handling, reliable, safe, advanced features for 09 (keyless entry, push-to-start, bluetooth, leather power seats, blind spot monitoring, etc.) would absolutely recommend this car to anyone who wants a very high quality value buy.

Mine is a V6 version with a 3.7L engine. The power is always sufficient and the steering wheel is light and easy to control. I really enjoy driving this car.

Great leg room front and back, very comfortable seats, almost new tires, great gas mileage at 27 mpg, very reliable car and fun to drive.

I’m not quite a big fan of the tilt it has turning corners but for its price it is doable but I highly recommend the V6 version instead of the smaller 4cyl

It's very comfy, very reliable, very nice lookin, very fuel efficient etc. Handles nicely, step on the gas n it goes! Love my car! Best car I've had n a long time!

Great car for someone who uses manual transmission, great engine, but needs some bucks to fix the lights, the check engine is not affecting the car performance..

Great little car overall. Only criticisms are the front bumper is too low and scrapes on parking curbs and my 6?3? husband finds it too cramped for his legs, but he can ride several hours without complaining. Great mileage!
