I am so sad to see this car go!

When I purchased the car, it had 70,00 miles. I have added another 10,000 miles which has caused incredible wear on the car. This car is the funnest I have ever had however the repairs are so expensive it has forced me to resell and think about other options. Maybe down the road when I can spend $1,000 at every turn I will get another Mercedes. Until then, I am being a little bit more smart about my car decisions.

Great machine to drive

I really loved the handle on this model. Takes of fast and breaks perfectly. I would highly recommend this vehicle to anyone looking for a family SUV in the Mercedes line.

Most safe and comfortable car I have owned.

The car has met all my need, it is easy to drive for a girl and it is an SUV. It has a lot of space.

Solid car, but limited space

I currently own a 2013 Mercedes-Benz GLK 350, which we bought used in 2013. It is a base model in Mars Red, so it is an attention getter. Overall, the car has given us zero problems mechanically, but there were some paint issues that developed approximately one year after buying it. I must say though, Mercedes absolutely stands behind their vehicles. Once I brought the paint issue to the dealer, they were on it immediately. It almost seemed to upset the dealer that I was having problems. Not in the sense that it bothered them that I brought it to their attention, but it was more of a concern that the car was not living up to expectation. This was actually refreshing to know that there are companies who take pride in their product. My car was shipped off, stripped of all paint and re-painted. As far as the vehicle itself, it rides good and has plenty of power. Now that my family is growing up, we are a little cramped inside. There is very limited cargo space in the back. A couple of pieces of luggage and it is full. The information system is fairly intuitive when you first use it. The dial makes getting to whatever function on the display easy. Overall, the car is solid and highly recommended. I think I will go for the ML or GL class next time, just for the room.

Favorite car ever

In love with this car. Refined interior, aggressive performance, solid as a rock. Not a single problem, rattle, issue for first 40k. Costs $400 every 10,000 miles to service.

I Own My Dream Car

I wanted this vehicle from the time I saw it on Jurassic World. I love the body type and everything about it. It is the perfect car for me. I drive it proudly.

Reliable luxury vehicle with low miles

This is a great vehicle as it's reliable and luxury all in one. The low mileage and ease of driving packaged into one SUV with no history of accidents or damage is the best price for you money.

Perfect for me

Peppy 4matic transmission. Great styling, looks a lot different than the BMW, Acura, Lexus and other small SUVs I demoed. I'm tall (6'4") and needed most headroom possible. It delivers on that note, while still having enough room in the second row seats. I also have tiny parking space in my condo garage, GLK is great for parking and getting in/out of small spaces. Kind of wish I had the nav system as I do miss my backup camera. Apparently you can get an aftermarket one at Car Toys, but for the price, seems to me it should be standard equipment.

Love My GLK

Great car so far. Beautiful in styling and performs very well. Many people complain about the rear leg room, but then again it is a compact SUV so it is to be expected. It's only been 2 weeks but I am loving it.

Fussy But Performs

Best Aspects: 1) POWERFUL V-6 engine, strength for days. 2) Solid handling, very flat cornering. 3) Utterly SEAMLESS 7-speed transmission, flawless shifting, good shift points. 3) Quiet interior, slight wind noise over 70mph. 4) Great looks. 5) EVERYTHING is adjustable in some fashion. Moderate Aspects: 1) Rear seat room not the largest. 2) Glovebox too small. 3) Not much interior storage space for driver & passenger. 4) Electronics/COMAND system can be quite fussy. Caveats: this is my first Mercedes. The Teutonic Mind, it turns out, is quite different from the Japanese Mind -- most of my prior vehicles. Some products are inherently intuitive; to me this Mercedes is not. You have to open the books and LEARN the car. Perhaps that's true of ALL new vehicles today. I can finally make all the stuff work but it was a challenge at first. I'm told this is true of all new Mercedes now. WORTH IT? After 17,000 miles, yes, I'd say it is. The car hauls butt, handles well, quiet, little road noise, no maintenance issues. Service isn't cheap. Look, you either want a Mercedes or you don't. After this, would I purchase another? Yes, I would. It's a quality machine, fussy to my mind, but worth it.
