2017 Mercedes-Benz SL 550 consumer reviews

I have 2017 sl550. After purchase, the HK sound system has no fader. So all the music comes through the front speakers and the back speakers seem just for show. Brought it back to the MB dealer and was told the back speakers are functioning exactly how they should and there is nothing that can be done. although the service rep agreed it sucks! Also be aware that a lot of theses cars do not have run flats or a spare tire. MB only provides a can of Fix a flat. So when you get a flat tire, expect to call a flat bed truck. MB really needs to fix these 2 main issues and make the car 4matic. Also a heads up display will be nice for this car costing $120,000 +.

This car has all the bells and whistles and more features than we ever expected. It rides so smooth I can't hear it running, AMAZING.

when one things goes wrong...its like a chain effect...other things line up one after another....ot cost more to fix the car then to own it for 10 years. if you keep it that long

This is my fourth Mercedes; I own two concurrently. The GLS450 is my work horse/daily driver. The SL550 is the toy. Both cars are classy, totally comfortable and make me work harder in my business so as to purchase my next.

True roadster with unmatched style and luxury. Love the sound of the exhaust system and the retractable hardtop. The seats follow the shape of your body when the vehicle makes sharp turns. There are several types of seat massages available.

Great car lots of horsepower and looks. Handles like a champ, although could use a bit more trunk space for the golf clubs. Otherwise happy with purchase

Drove the SL 550 and it was excellent vehicle and a fun car to drive within the city and the highway. Like so many SL series, it was far better at going fast in a straight line and curved one. There were lots of improvement in the car than previous SL and a more aggressive front and better stability control system on this sport car. My hope is to soon have one and happy to write this review.
