I'm only 25 years old an I own a 1997 sl 500 mercedes benz . I personally like the vehicle alot, I have it outside my house parked chillan . I could drive it anywhere in the world an it will be okay with it very reliable car . Trust me it is I'm young an I get lots of attention from the lady's. I live in AZ so I keep it inside the garage. If you own a mercedes sl500 just know you gotta have the money . You see me I love money so I can never lose

Great buy for someone

This is a $100,000 car for a tenth of the price. Mine was in in impeccable condition and most people shouldn't believe everything was original, including the paint. If you can buy one in good condition, it would be a great sports car. After 20 years, the only concern is that the plastics tend to deteriorate and replacement is expensive but the drive train is excellent.

Headed for the wineries

This car has been my summer weekend cruiser for about 5 years. It has run faultlessly, aside from the soft-top computer jamming once. (surprisingly, the local import car repair shop charged me only $65 to fix) It looks good, drives well. Definitely a 2 seater - I am not sure what the area behind the front seats can be used for - it is not a seat, but could have been re-designed to be one.

1997 Mercedes SL600 - V12 BEAST

This car is a headturner, with 12 cylinders and 400 HP, there's a reason this car is know as the flagship Mercedes Benz. It had options in '97 that no one else offered like self leveling suspension, bi xenon headlights, wood grain steering wheel and much, much more!

Always reliable, powerful, fun to drive, wonderbar

This car is for a free spirit. Handles most superb. Never out of extreme power in any circumstance. Gets down and races anyone. An engineering feat. Most amazing car I've ever owned.
