It’s the bomb

I bought my 2007 SLK 280 used in 2022. I had it inspected and knew ahead of time I was going to have to put another $5k into it to make it right and how I wanted. So far I’m very happy with the car and am glad I spent the money. Great combination of being sporty, luxurious and roomy. I initially was considering buying a used Porsche Boxster but I’m 6’4” and it was too cramped and the interior looked and felt cheap to me. My SLK just looks and feels very high quality and it is so much fun to drive. I put in an upgraded radio with touch screen, usb, CarPlay etc. made in China that was made to match the existing accessories (highly recommend). The car is in such good condition people think it’s new. I’m always looking for excuses to drive it and can’t wait to get in it. It has a top speed of 155. I have had it up to 130 and it’s solid as a rock. The Germans make their cars autobahn ready.

SLK 350 Is A Lovely Lady

Bought my SLK 350 a year ago and have put 6K miles on top of the 105K it had when purchased. The 2004-2007 SLK 350 has a M272 engine and you want to be sure its serial number is above 2729..30 468993 to avoid the legendary balance shaft problem. Mint garaged condition when I bought it and still a head turner that looks brand new, which many people have assumed when they see it. Mine is! Lots of headroom and cockpit space for my 6 ft. 2 inch frame, unlike the Boxsters and Z4s I tried. Nice interior layout, especially after the radio replaced with an aftermarket touchscreen unit. Very smooth and quiet ride, especially with windows up and top down. Plenty of power and cornering ability when you want it. She is a stylish, beautiful, reliable and most of all fun fun fun car. I love this car. My 6th and by far the best convertible in the past 30 years, and I expect for it to be my last.

Great car. No issues what so ever

I have had this car for 7 years and put 23000 miles. In excellent condition except some paint blemish on rear bumper and below from spoiler. Have all receipts. Run and Drives great. Easyily turn to convertible with a push of a button. Great gas millage.

A DREAM to drive with the top down

I was lucky enough to find a very well preserved, low mileage used SLK280 for a reasonable price. I didn't anticipate how much I would enjoy driving this thing with the top down, even at high speed on busy highways. I've driven it 40,000 KM in two years - it has been very reliable, and it's also very fuel efficient. It turns heads. It handles like nothing I've ever owned or driven. With the top down, you catch a wee bit more of the exhaust growl, and for some reason the car seems to ride better. Might just be the emotional response to a clear blue sky and a sunny day. It's not insanely fast, but it's pretty damn quick, especially in the 80 KM/Hr to 130 KM / Hr (50 mph - 80 mph) range. On-ramps are a blast. I upgraded the stereo with a MB look alike from China so that I had bluetooth and gps, and that made the whole car just that more more of a treat to own and operate. It does drive like a roadster, so if you're looking for a silky smooth ride, this ain't it, but as roadsters go, it's about as good a ride as you will get. Not completely practical - small trunk - but this car wasn't made to move furniture - it was made to move hearts. My other car is a minivan, (should get that on a bumper sticker), so I can move stuff when I need to. Love this car.

My Dream Car!!!

Overall, an amazing vehicle! Great performance and handling, especially on curves! Gorgeous exterior that gets lots of looks and compliments, especially with the top down! Excellent safety features and reliability is off the charts! The only downside is storage compartments on the console are awkwardly placed and the cup holder is useless. Other than that, this vehicle ROCKS!

Made for ME!

I love my car. When I first saw it, it had "me" written all over it! I love the body style, size, and the way it handles! It's an older model, but it is perfect for me. I have had it a while, and it still looks new. It may not have all of the new bells and whistles, but this is my baby! Bought for, paid off, and love!

I love this car. It is fun and reliable.

This is my first Mercedes and it will not be my last. I love this car. It is very reliable and is comfortable to drive. Letting the top down in warm weather gives me a sense of freedom that I haven't has since I sold my motorcycle. It is just a relaxing and fun drive.
