LOVE MY MERCURY Grand Marquis all four of them)

I have owned 4 Mercury Grand Marquis for the past 32 years. I now have a 2004 MGM that I purchased new in 2004 and now have 170,000 miles on it. When Ford dropped the Grand Marquis from its line I swore never to purchase another Ford product. I dread the day when it finally gives up but as of now there are no signs that will happen anytime soon.

Safe and dependable car for my college age son

Wanted a safe and dependable car for my son to drive to college the next community over. Good in poor weather, smooth ride and easy enough to fix, we have maintained it well given our child depended on it.

Buy The Car You Want

Although it is not "new", it is new to me. Select the car, model, trims, etc that you want. Don't worry about color or price yet. You'll probably have several turn up. Now. Figure out what a third of your spendable income looks like. If you can't figure that out, just buy the first one that catches your eye. Once you have that figured out, start with the newest one and compare the asking price, your "buy" price and the color. Is it the color you want? No, can you live with it?(secret: most cars are either white or, a popular color in your area. DO NOT Spend more than 1/3 of your spendable cash on it. Work your way down the list. You will find the car, for the price you want. It may be a different color, it may have crappy tires. Buy it. You will never have carbuyer remorse. I wasn't even looking when my Grand Marquis fell into my lap. Am I happy with it? 99.9%. It has a few things I don't like but it is my car with all the trims and even the color. Now it is time to decide if I can part with it because I have 2 cars and only need 1. Everytime I drive it I think I should get rid of my other car and keep it. It has a sporty feel, is comfortable and is still pretty tight throughout. It's had a fairly gentle life that only us "old folks" can give a car. It isn't driven very much. You know, church on Sunday and women's bake sale on Thursday's. Otherwise it sits under the carport waiting for it's chance to slip into the traces and race to the next destination.

A enjoyable, comfortable car for cruising the road

This car is a nice riding car with room for 6 passengers & a large deep trunk with 20 CU. FT. of cargo capacity. The Fuel mileage is 16 mpg city, 24 mpg highway from the 4.6 Liter (281 CU. IN.) DOHC V-8 engine. They are inexpensive cars due to their Old School technology. This means that both front seats are power, it has a full size spare tire, & the radio is AM-FM-CD player. The seats are large with good leg room.
