2010 Mercury Mountaineer consumer reviews

So I just bought a used 2010 Mercury Mountaineer, with a restored salvage title. Typically I do not buy vehicles that don’t have a clean title. Obviously this vehicle was in an accident, and restored. I test drove the vehicle twice before deciding to buy it. I have to say there are a few quirks I have to work out of the system, but the engine and transmission is solid! With just over 100k miles this vehicle is by far one of the cleanest vehicles I have ever bought used, inside and out. I upgraded from an 03 Ford Ranger that had the 2.3L engine 5 speed manual. I wanted something automatic and with more HP. The Mountaineer doesn’t disappoint. For $4,500 I feel this vehicle was a smart purchase even if I have to put some time and money into fixing the weird quirks. I wish there was a way to submit pictures in this review to show just how clean this vehicle is. I would not hesitate on buying another one.

Car meets all by needs and expectations . I live in the country and drive on gravel roads. This car has good height from the ground.

The 4.0V6 does feel underpowered a little but the overall feel of the SUV is amazing! it handles the road like a sports car and has only a little body roll when it is pushed in the corners. The interior room and storage is incredible and has a great sound system

This truck is definitely on the high end as far as luxury but the 4.7 Liter V8 is a complete beast. I've been very happy with the comfort of this truck.

It started out as a lease but we loved it so much that when it came to the end of it we just had to have it. Before this truck we had a Gmc envoy xl but it had so many problems that when it came to getting a new american suv we had to lease it so we could test it out. And after 5 long years with this truck, me and my husband knew that it was the perfect fit for our family. We have 3 kids so this suv is the perfect fit for us. Not to mention how luxurious it is. We got the luxury trim level which came with standard leather seats and a rear dvd player which is perfect for the kids and sirus xm radio which I love. And the third row is perfect for those long car rides. Gas mileage isn't that great but we got the V8 so we really wasn't concerned about saving money on gas. The truck drives so smooth and the transmission shifts with no problem and it has a lot of power. I am looking forward to many more years with this truck because it truly is the perfect family suv in my book.

So a friend of mine has this car and it is excellent. I immediately fell in love with it. The stereo is great, the interior design is awesome. It's a real ride and i love riding in my friend's car. it's like a joy ride.

got mine with all the bells and whistles.love this truck.got a great deal. was looking at a used one but got the new one for 5,000 more than a 2008 one.
