Owned for 18 months

I would not buy again. Great gas mileage but a very cheaply made car for the money. License plate curls because only 2 screws to hold it. The defrost system is terrible - have to keep a window cracked in the winter or it stays fogged up. Outside mirrors are super cheap. Dash lights come on randomly and then go off. (The dealership I bought it new at has terrible service too)

Party like it?s 1999

Overall, great basic and reliable transportation. Styling on the exterior isn?t bad, but the car feels like it was pulled from the late 90?s. Super small and very fuel efficient. One of the most sluggish cars I?ve driven, but it?s like a go-kart. Best turning radius I?ve ever experienced and great for cities where you have to parallel park. It?s a great value for the price.

Just what I wanted

I've enjoyed owning and driving city cars for the last 40+ years. The Mitsubishi Mirage is exactly what I was looking for in my newest city car, and I am thoroughly pleased with every aspect of it!

Great value!

I recently bought a highly discounted new 2017 Mitsubishi Mirage ES (manual) with added armrest & bluetooth. I am loving my new Mirage! It's a blast to drive! The professional auto critics are missing the point of what this car is all about. Keep in mind, I paid under $9500 for this car brand new! This car handles nicely! The manual transmission isn't clunky. The transmission is so smooth it takes some getting use to, & this is coming from someone who only owns manual vehicles. The cars sort of grows on you! I love the sound of the engine! I really question anyone who complains about the power of this vehicle or compares it to the small cars of the 1990's. I owned/drove a 1990 Ford Festiva (1.3 L, 64 hp, 5 speed manual, 12" wheels, 2 door/hatchback, no A/C, no power steering, crank windows, unfinished metal door panels with a small vinyl padding covering them) for 14 years. I loved that car! Unstoppable in snow, reliable, great gas mileage, & very comfortable to drive. In comparison, the Mirage seems like a luxury compact hatchback! I hope Mitsubishi doesn't mess with this model that much in the future. If some want something bigger & more powerful, create another model instead. That market is already flooded, however. This is a car that goes quite far on a 9.2 gallon gas tank. If you get a good deal on this car, it's a great value!

Great Car at a Great Price

This car is compact, but still feels very roomy on the inside. It has awesome safety features built in. This car is not a fancy one, it is a practical and inexpensive vehicle.

Great little car

I recently bought a 2017 Mitsubishi Mirage SE All I can say is that this car is fantastic! It has adequate power, and in my opinion, it is quite perky for just having 3 cylinders. The fuel economy is unsurpassed in a non-hybrid car. The SE trim comes with loads of bells and whistles such as push button start, automatic air conditioner, fog lights, keyless entry, a backup camera, and a touch-screen infotainment system with Android auto and Apple Carplay. The SE trim has basically all you would want in a modern automobile. Even the base ES trim comes with keyless entry and quite a few features. Back to performance, some professional reviewers complain about the lack of power. As I have said, the power is adequate. You can't have the power of a 2.0 l, 4 cylinder engine and still get the gas mileage that the Mirage does. As far the ride goes, the ride is smoother than the ride in my previous 2007 Toyota Yaris and much less boring. The Mirage hugs the highway nicely on curves and feels solid on the road. I agree with those who say ignore the professional reviewers because the professional reviewers are either biased or do not understand this car. Look at these user reviews to get a feel for how the car really is and how it is loved by its owners. Don't buy this car on price alone or you are likely to be disappointed. . Buy it because you want the best fuel economy in a non-hybrid and want tons of features at a low price point. Then you most certainly will not be disappointed. I highly recommend this car.

The best features for the best price!

This car for the money is absolutely incredible. Push button start, back up camera, great fuel economy and four doors make it a great car for everyday use. It doesn?t have a lot of power but I easily keep up with traffic in most situations! Mitsubishi?s warranty is also great! I would recommend this Car for anyone who wants something practical with great features for a reasonable price!
