Great suv for the money

Just purchased 2018 SEL Outlander. Roomy and comfortable. This one seats 7. Good quiet ride. This is our second outlander. Love the AWD. Handles well in snow.

3rd Outlander

I drive a lot and the best mileage I have had is with the Outlander Sport and Outlander. This is the 3rd I have owned trading in on new each time. I moved up to the full size Outlander this trade and love it. Would like a few more options on the SE but for the money, unbeatable.

3rd Row Seating without feeling like your driving

Switched from a Prius to the Outlander. I LOVE IT! Fun to drive, lots of technology, seats 7! Great SUV without feeling like you are driving a bus. Great turn radius, excellent MPG!

Not as impressive as the Eclipse Crossover SUV

This vehicle just didn't seem to have the power that the Eclipse Crossover SUV had. The design and style also lacked in comparison. The only thing that I preferred in this vehicle as opposed to the Eclipse Crossover SUV was the 3rd row seating, but not enough to purchase it!

Not Impressed

This car might be cheaper than the competition, but you get what you pay for, and you'd be surprised by what things your money doesn't pay for. The people at Mitsubishi seem to have purposefully designed the car and selected standard features in a way that would make it *look* good in pictures and *appear* feature-rich at first glance, while compensating with poor designs and omitted features that you wouldn't notice until you rent it for a week. Things like the lack of standard automatic headlights, the complete lack of air vents in two of the three rows, or the third row seats that are not only made partially out of cardboard and excruciatingly uncomfortable but also physically impossible to sit in without putting your legs on the seat next to you or sitting crisscross. Or the second row seats, which are still incredibly uncomfortable. Or even the first row seats, which are *still* very uncomfortable (and as a side note, not even the driver's seat has standard power controls). Or the dearth of power outlets, or the steering wheel that can still turn when the car is off. Or the constellation of button covers-- I counted 18, but probably missed some. It's like buying a car from Wish- pretty much anything you can't easily see in pictures but would expect to be there as standard equipment, isn't. Likewise, anything that could be of poor quality but still look deceptively high-quality, is. I can't recommend this car, nor can anyone in my family. If at all possible, I'd advise going with any other brand.

Great vehicle for the price

I had a 2015 outlander sport and recently traded it in for a 2018 outlander gt. I absolutely love it. My only complaint is that i dont like how tall the 3rd row seating headrests are. It blocks the back windshield. Other than that i absolutely love it and have a feeling ill be keeping it for a long time.

3rd Outlander we owned

We bought 2 new Outlander Sports in 2015. I drive a lot, my wife less. Both preformed great, I hit higher mileage and decided to upgrade to the 2018 Outlander SE. Very happy with it the sunroof is nice and the push button start is great. Lots of tech stuff more than I will ever use or understand but nice. The 3rd row is almost useless, unless it for a car seat or very small kid. With the second row seating in a normal position the 3rd row has no leg space. Drives great, looks pretty good outside, adding the body side molding to help with door digs. The backup camera is nice but takes some getting used to if not had one in past cars. Only addition I would have liked would be the remote trunk release and the side mirror fold-in option. GPS would be nice but don't think that's an option on the 2018. Mileage is the best, and the reason I bought in the first place with the long warranty. Only thing is it cannot tow. It has low capacity 1500lbs, which is about a small trailer to tow lawn mowers or something. Resell and trade in are very low but they are cheaper than most (SUV) to buy new, so its a tradeoff.
