A pretty good vehicle

This is a rather nice looking vehicle. The interior is a little dull loking, but not bad. I find the seats comfortable for longer rides. The ride is fairly quiet and comfortable over smoother surfaces. Rough pavement can be a little unsettling. Performance is pretty good, including acceleration. The CVT is unobtrusive. Gas mileage is better than advertised in my experience. Handling is average for the class. I bought the vehicle at a substantial discount as a leftover in April 2016. I'm happy with it.

Diamond in the Rough!

I started my search with a beat up oldsmobile that had lasted me over 100,000 miles without any maintenance issues other than routine oil changes and I was ready for an upgrade. I was looking for another reliable automaker and was looking for a small crossover. I wanted the SUV practicality but the drivability of a car. A crossover with good gas mileage, good safety ratings, and equipped with all the bells and whistles that I could fit in my budget. I had only a couple cars on my radar, the Outlander Sport and the Subaru XV Crosstrek. I ventured to other companies, I have learned with past vehicles to stay away from Dodge/Chrysler, Chevy. I didn?t care for the looks of the Rav4 or CRV, and they were bigger vehicles and more money than I had budgeted. So that left me with Mitsubishi and Subaru. I had the opportunity to check out the Crosstrek during an autoshow and although I liked the styling, I found the Subaru to be very plain on the inside, and just felt cramped, and didn't have the wow factor I was looking for. So I zeroed back in on the Outlander Sport. I went to my local Mitsubishi dealer and had the best car buying experience. After a test drive and couple of signatures later, I drove out in my brand new White Pearl, Mitsubishi Outlander Sport SE. What a great vehicle! What sold me was the design, the features, even though a small crossover, it feels rather roomy on the inside. The Outlander Sport came with so many features such as, automatic rain sensing wipers, 900W subwoofer (wow this thing can punch it!), panoramic sunroof (night time driving is my new favorite thing to do), Bluetooth connectivity, heated seats, basically too many features to list and the price came out to be well lower than the Subaru would ever be! Not to mention one of the best warranties in the business. I have put over 34,000 miles so far on my Outlander Sport and have enjoyed it every mile. Critics would call this car everything except what it is, a GEM! Not only has the car been wonderful, issue free, the service department guys really know their stuff and I feel like a valued customer and not just another sale. Highly recommended!

Compact but Roomy

Let me just say this: I have owned Chevrolet's all my life, so switching makes as far as a vehicle goes was a little concerning for me. My last car was a 2009 Chevrolet Cobalt and it lasted me 8 years. Still ran great, no major issues. I kept oil changed, new tires, regular maintenance. I have been wanting a slightly bigger vehicle, without feeling like I'm driving a bus. I knew I wanted to stay in small to mid-size range, and needed a great value on a budget. I looked at Nissan Rogue, Toyota Rav4, Honda CRV, and Mazda CX7. None compares to the Mitsubishi Outlander Sport. With the sleek outside design, comfortable interior, and 10 year/100,000 warranty on a used vehicle, was the selling point for me. Dont worry about the reviews that say the engine is too noisy, it is perfectly fine for a 2.0 liter. It isn't made for road racing, but has plenty of pep if I need it. I purchased this 2015 yesterday, and hope to hang onto it a long time. I did have some issues starting it a couple times, but pretty sure it was a user error, not a vehicle error.

I love this car

This is my second Outlander. First was a 2004 and now my 2015. I love them because they are inexpensive to maintain. I have always owned german cars and this was the best purchase ever made. Brakes- cheap, oil change - cheap, tires - cheap. I have never had any maintenance issues other than scheduled maintenance. I love it.

this is my second Outlander

I love this car. I bought it new. My first one was a 2004 Outlander also purchased new. After 160,000 miles on my 2004 I thought it was time to buy a new one. We kept the old one and I went in to the dealership and bought pretty much the base model. No bells or whistles but I couldn't be happier. What I love is the turn radius has improved. The 2004 had a not so good one but the 2015 has a great turn radius. What I loved about the 2004 that the 2015 doesn't have is two compartments in the armrest console. The 2015 just has one deep console wha=eras my 2004 had a deep one toped with a shallow shelf. The other thing that I liked about my 2004 is that the rear seats had adjustments. My 2015 has no adjusting positions. It's just upright or folded down completely. Of course my 2015 has many great features that most new cars have like the bluetooth calling features that, of course, my 2004 didn't have. But what I love about this car is that it has a super great warranty (that I've never had to use) and maintenance is super cheap especially compared to german cars. I have never spent a penny other than oil changes, a new battery, brakes and minor stuff. The car holds up and now my son and his wife just bought one. They love their 2017 full size Outlander. This car gives you the best bang for your buck. If you find a good one - Buy it! You won't regret the purchase. You won't regret the money you'll save.
