Had it for 10 years and still love it!

I bought this car used in 2009 with 15,000 miles on it. I have LOVED driving this car ever since and it's still my daily driver today. It has great pick-up if you're passing, corners well, and has been so reliable! The gas mileage is good, interior is set up well, and it is comfortable. The thing I love most about this car is its reliability.

Gas Saver, Fast, Quite Reliable.

For being the 2.5 SL it’s very light and quick, compared to our 2013 Altima, I do recommend. It’s a reliable vehicle if properly maintained.

bad cvt transmission!!!!!

This car was so fun to drive with lots of great features but when it hit 105k miles and the transmission went out I was appalled! This is not what I expected from the Nissan brand. Very dissatisfied and will never purchase another Nissan!

Unspectacular, yet solid and reliable

The V-6 engine of this car is smooth and powerful - best part of the car. I love the exterior styling - although, after 12 years, my headlight covers need to be restored, and the paint needs some serious correction. The upgraded Bose sound system was surprisingly good. The CVT transmission is boring, but I've done my regular maintenance, and it continues to work well after >180K miles (fingers crossed). Car was problem free (with the exception of some wear and tear stuff) until it hit >150K miles. Then, something on the brake lines went bad and my son completely lost braking - thank goodness he was on a side street going 20 mph and could coast to a stop. The HVAC system takes a while to get going in the winter. I've replaced the front struts (around 125K miles). I'm having the lower control arms replaced soon for $1.1K. So, after 180K miles, I bought a new car and this one will be relegated to 3rd car status and something my college son can use during the summer for internships or co-ops. If it remains solid, he can have it when he gets his first job - just long enough for him to get a grip on his finances and learn how much car he can reasonably afford. I wouldn't buy a Nissan again - Honda and Toyota, while sometimes going off the rails or getting dull from a looks perspective, make better, more reliable vehicles. I strayed from the Honda/Acura family this one time, and I'll never do it again.
