Older car but feels very new

This car has everything I look for in a crossover. Navigation system, heated seats, sunroof, plenty of leg room, and plenty of truck space. Absolutely love it

I?ve owned many Nissans and

The Murano is no exception to being extremely reliable with a very low cost of ownership. Little/No problems with the exception of normal wear and tear.

When the warranty is up watch out

It's a gas guzzler and parts cost a fortune I would not purchase another one not even think about it!!!!

Great Vehicle But Has Issues

I really love my Murano. It runs well and is pretty comfortable. I bought mine used in 2017 and the drivers seat electronic controls don't move the seat correctly. The controls on the steering wheel don't work the way they are supposed to. The upward button on scanning doesn't work. I'm not sure the issue. I have had to have some work done but the warranty I bought with the car covered most of it. The mileage is about 20.1 per gallon on average, I do both highway and in town driving. When my friend drives it in town, it goes down to 18.1 mpg. In addition, there is a noticeable difference of performance when using high octane (91) gas. I love the hiding spots in the back but I do wish there were more. There also isn't much air flow through the tiny vents in the back which is a problem for me. Aside from those things, it runs well and is fun to drive. I would buy another one if given the chance to do so, though I'd look for one with a few more features.

Nice car, nice features, very roadworthy.

Car is stylish, has great features, drives nicely, lots of cargo space and very comfortable ride. Two things, I wish I had GPS, later models have it, and the seats lack great lumbar support. Other than that, quite pleased with a 10+ year old used vehicle. If you could locate a newer model 2008-2012 with 50k miles or less you will be happy with the car.

Great Car for the Money, if You Can Afford to Fix

The Nissan Murano is a beautifully made vehicle from the outside; however, underneath the hood is it's true downfall. CVT Transmissions are known for their swift, effortless shift. The CVT is a belt, similar to a snowmobile, that runs on a track; fastens when you accelerate, and slows when coming to a halt. That is, if you can get it not to slip. Much like the Saturn Vue that I also owned, warranting the same CVT Transmission, it's major fault was not being properly adjusted for long enough periods of time. Not shifting, to switching gears, this car isn't the most ideal to drive; but the looks and comfort the exterior and interior provide make the car 50% worth the purchase.

Never had a problem in 5 years! (Knock on wood!

It is amazing in the snow, in Utah we have a lot of it and I've never slid in my Murano, it handles so well. It's very roomy and great for road trips. Just wish it had a little better gas mileage and was priced a little lower.
