I car I have realy enjoyed!
I have over 90,000 miles on my Murano and it has never let me down. Drove to Alaska and back, 6 or 7 trips from Cleveland to the West Coast and 2 years commuting 26 miles each way 5 days a week. Always started, went thru rain, snow never a problem. Love the back up camera--saved me a couple of times. Handles well in the snow around Cleveland.

Excellent car
We purchased this used 2007 Nissan, Murano SL in April and we love the vehicle. It is a small SUV, but the interior design makes it feel spacious. The manner in which the A/C quickly cools the car under hot, southern, summer skies only brings a smile to your face. And then the drive, the CVT makes acceleration feels like a smooth transition from stop to required speed. My friend, who is a car enthusiast said, after being driven over 400 miles in the back seat: " Man, that car is comfortable." I get 23 - 24 mpg on the highway.

Nice SUV
I just bought my Murano a little over a month ago. I picked up a 2007 with low miles. So far I love it. I have had so much luck with 2 previous Maxima's so I do trust the Nissan product. This Murano is put together well. I have the "Touring Package" and it includes everything except for XM/Sirius radio. The leather is nice. The heated seats work great. The stereo sounds great. This is a very nice vehicle. I am averaging ~ 22 MPG with mostly highway miles. I am satisfied with this. Sure I'd love to get more miles per gallon, but this is a pretty large vehicle so I have no complaints. The interior and the exteriour are beautiful. Everyone compliments me on my car. I have gotten used to the CVT. At first it was a little odd that I did not feel the car shift, but it now seems normal. I am very happy with my new (pre-owned) Murano. It is a great car and a pre-owned one makes great sense. I would highly recommend this car to a friend. I expect to have "Mo" for a long time, like my two previous Maximas. I LOVE NISSAN!

Drives like luxury car
I'm so very impressed with my Murano. After driving luxury cars like BMW and Mercedes for a number of years, I was a bit skeptical about the performance of the Nissan Murano. But to My surprise, the Murano handling and drive is pretty impressive, it drives like the luxury cars I'm used to.

I love my Murano!!
I've owned my car for three months and the only thing that I've found is sometimes the brakes squeak, I had the pads checked and their fine. The only other thing is I wish it had heated back seats! We've owned a lot of cars and this is my favorite so far!

Best vehicle I have ever owned!
I have owned over 100 cars. Yes, I trade a lot much to my wife's chagrin. I bought this Murano used about a year ago and I finally found a car I will keep. It is great in bad weather (If you have trouble, it is your tires. the original Goodyears suck!)..I put on a set of Hankook Ventus and it is quieter, smoother, and better in the snow, ice, rain, and dry weather. The car is extremely comfortable and reliable. Nissan recently extended the warranty on the CVT to 120,000 miles to prove it is reliable. I average 20 city and 23-24 on the highway. Great vehicle. If you are thinking about buying one, just do it. I would buy an 06 or newer though because of option packages.

I love my Murano!
I ended up buying a 2007 Murano S as I found a low mileage vehicle in great condition. I love this auto, and would highly recommend it. I would have liked the toys and leather seats, but even the base model is fun to drive, and does well in the snow. You can't go wrong with any Murano!

Quality?
I own a 2007 SL- AWD, chose an option with no GPS nor sunroof. First, looks better then the next gen Murano's. Second, got stuck in my driveway - whereas my subaru outback was getting in and out all day long - not mentioning my F-150 which refused to get stuck, even when trying to pull some body elses van, beetle, and maxima out of snow. Third, this thing is as loud as a ML mercedes. For those of you who never drove one - it is bad. It's like ridding inside a tin can. Only ML is bumpy and stiff like an old bronco off road. Anyway, I've had to take off all of the interior, headliner, seats, console, carpet, under-carpeting fabric, door panels, spare tire, and a little of sound deadening material that it had. Next, I, personally, had to install new sound dampening material inside the cabin, not including doors. Then, sound deadening material over the sound dampening material - through out every piece of exposed inner metal. Then, had to use specially mixed compound and apply it to the inner door panels, due to the moisture on wet days - leaking in through the rubber seal on the bottom of the window - don't be surprised, every car's, almost, water leaks inside the panel. Last, car rides like a coffin on wheels, quiet, only its windshield has been designed poorly or its airodinemics - wind noise can be heard througth the windshield. Will see how good the CVT is - if it sux, I will tell every person that comes to my shop - about 25-50 a day, not to buy a nissan product ever again, and they, my customers, will listen.

Disappointing
Like most people I loved my 2007 Murano when I first purchased it....BUT the problems began about a year after my purchase. I have had several issues with the rotors that Nissan just can't fix correctly! When I back up it makes a screaching sound. They claim it is just rust, but really the rotors need replaced. They are defective. The top of my vehicle is rusting...Nissan sent a DTS to check my vehicle out and they stated it is from road debris. I have found 2 other white Muranos on sales lots that are rusting on the top as well. AGAIN, Nissan refuses to address the rust. Newer cars SHOULD NOT RUST. Also, my driver side sun visor will not stay up....it just falls down when I am driving. Major safety hazard that Nissan refuses to address. Good luck if you ever have to deal with Nissan corporate. They are ridiculous. Will never purchase a Nissan again. Hope to trade mine in soon!
