Look no further for high quality, fun, used SUV
Purchased a base Cayenne as a CPO from a local Porsche dealer in 2022 with 34,000 miles (this is my 6th Porsche). Better than any other SUV I have ever owned by far. Fun, reliable, and great looking. And a great deal.

16 Cayenne GTS - mixed feelings
This review is for 2016 GTS model. After owning this car for a year / 20k miles, it left mixed impressions. Good: - very engaging, fun ride. Especially after installing fabspeed cat bypass and in the sport+ mode, the car sounds amazing - handling is good, its not jumpy on high speeds - interior quality - overall this was my best car to date for long road trips, not only it’s not tiring, but also fun, even on 12 hour drive. - the looks … gts model looks amazing … you cannot tell it from the 2023 model from the front, and the back overall looks better - nice gas tank size, dont need to refuel often - seats are comfortable - the AC and air quality inside the car is very good Bad: - honestly the car has mechanical flaw. You can find more info on this online, but the transmission is jerky on low speed and abrupt during breaking. The car had transfer case changed twice and it did not help. Imo this is the software issue - the v6 engine is weak. Comparing to x6m this is a totally different game. It cannot compete - trunk space is a disaster … the trunk is tiny - overall reliability, there’s been a couple of faults here and there Overall I am confused with the experience. While it was a fun car, I would have expected much more from porsche in terms of reliability and performance. Maintenance of a car is another issue, you can’t just drop by at any decent shop, because most don’t work on porsche. Those that do, are booked or don’t accept the 3rd party warranty

Reliable, comfortable, great mileage
2016 Cayenne Diesel is a great car. Well built, great performance, yes you can accelerate uphill, great brakes, great looks, comfortable for short and long trips. Drive 100 miles on the highway and watch your mileage remaining increase! Always fun.

Comfortable and capable
Yesterday we drove from Florida to Texas in about 15 hours. We averaged about 25 mpg, and were comfortable the entire trip thanks to the great adjustable seats. Some people think that buying a Porsche is just a status symbol, and that they really are not any better than other brands, but you really do get what you pay for with a Porsche. The company makes a very high quality product that is fun to drive.

Awesome High Performance Luxury SUV
This is my 2nd Cayenne GTS. I first traded my semi new Touareg for Cayenne GTS and then found another GTS with 60k less miles. I am totally pleased with everything in the Cayenne. While a Touareg has similar room and tow capacity, a Cayenne with 440 hp is a totally different vehicle. Only trade off is premium gas and 1 mile less per gallon. Well worth it since I can (if I desire) beat just about anything out there off the line (and with class and style too)!

I still own 3 Cayenne's plus 1 Macan.
I loved my original 2005 Cayenne, and over the years I ended up acquiring 3 more, a GTS, S and a Diesel. These cars are amazing from a performance perspective, but I also have 231K on the S, 120K on the Diesel, and all three are still pulling very strong with just oil changes, basic maintenance and tires. If you do the regular maintenance, at the Dealer, they last forever. To be truthful, nothing comes close to my Macan Turbo, as it outhandles most exotic cars I encounter, but the Cayenne is larger / convenient, although not quite as nimble or quick.

Good but don’t fall the hype...
I own Cayenne GTS (2016). It’s drives extremely well, corners without significant roll which inspires confidence when you feel like spirited driving. It can transport two of my children (two isofix points in the rear none in the middle) and it has enough room for my dog in the back.... but it’s an SUV so the practicality aspect shouldn’t surprise - frankly every SUV can do that. Where the Cayenne (GTS) shines is it’s a sports car on stilts. Truly few SUVs (or cars) can match its handling... But the outright speed? It’s fast but one can feel disconnected from the speed you are building because the noise (V6 in my GTS) isn’t as vocal as you’d think from the outside... yes the speed builds fast but honestly you’ll be shamed by a Grand Jeep Cherokee SRT at the traffic lights if that’s important to you. Personally I’m fine with the speed I have. The exterior look? I own the 2016 and while mine is loaded (21 inch wheels, rails) the look of my generation is not that exceptional vis-a-vie the $110,000 price tag. A Range Rover Sport has much more presence and “richness” for example. The inside? You learn the buttons but there’s literally nowhere practical to put your phone if you want out. The cup-holders are also uselessly shallow. I bought a cup-holder extender but that just facilities one drink - which is just bad luck for your passenger. Quality wise it’s okay... my dash was replaced THANK GOODNESS while it was under warranty because it started peaking off??! Value for money? Well everything is relative. The depreciation is better than most (just) but there are far cheaper options out there and the lack of standard equipment is annoying. Basic Mazda’s come with more as standard (No wonder Porsche are so profitable). Frankly the truth is they screw their customers because the customers accept it and importantly forgive it because people tend to fall for the exotic brand hype. It’s a very good sporty SUV and competent off road but frankly it’s not that luxurious (for the money).

The most gorgeous and slick car I’ve ever owned
I love driving this car. It is very comfortable and has enough legroom to seat my brother who is big and tall. The Bose Surround gives me an amazing experience that cannot compare to any of my previous cars, that and in addition to the gorgeous unmatchable exterior and interior design which attracts everybody’s attention.
