Having driven a 2010 9-3X for awhile I have come to the decision it is the single best vehicle ever manufactured. Very comfy and quiet, not too slow, very good visibility, design, and ergonomics. Superb cargo space and driving dynamics.

Saab Owner Since '87

Our daily drivers are the 2-2010 9-3x Sportcombi's bought a month apart in late 2009. They've been economical to own & extremely reliable. 1 has close to 145Kmi while the other just 33K. They get good mileage for being AWD and SportCombi's. The exterior & interior were well designed and are very comfortable in both short & long distance trips. We have been Saab owners since ' 87 & have a couple 900T that are summer use only. We bought a 2010 9-5 that I plan to drive when I retire in 5yrs back in 2012 that was a dealers demo with under 3Kmi. I also own my late father's 1st Saab 900T he bought in '79, before that he had 3 consecutive 99s. So wish Saab would return. If we can't find a low mileage 9-3x sportcombi to takeover our higher mileage 9-3X sportcombi by next summer, may lease the Volvo V60 Cross Country as its the closest to our 9-3X Sportcombi.

Great Value and Fun

I've owned Saabs for 21 years. The 9-3x is great. Inexpensive to run, well thought out and no problem with parts as Saab was a GM company. Super safe and very useful with a big rear cargo bay. No major mechanical issues. Just replaced a faulty seatbelt but that is all. Service costs are not pricey. Interior is well thought out, not as fancy as a BMW but then not as expensive either. Very comfortable seats!

good cars

We got this car for our daughter , it is pleasant to drive, gets around 23 MPG in mix driving, if you service at the dealers you need to check there work because, I try two of them and they do not do job as they should, for example, dealer charges for 90,000 mile service $165.00 and it should change oil and check all fluids, but my dealer left power steering box as it was and it was very low on fluid, also other fluids were not check and top of as promised.

Awesome handling.

I have had my 9-3X for about 3 years now. This one of the best handling cars I have driven. XWD technology is amazing. The car corners and handles very well. Sticks to the road like glue. Even in rain. Goes through snow like my old Subaru Forester. The turbo 2.0 is agile and gets the car up to highway speeds easily. Got to keep an eye on the speedometer as this car can get up to 70-80 MPH without you knowing as it is very smooth. Interior is well appointed. Wish the Driver seat had a little more lumbar sport. Maintenance costs are a little high when they come up but they few and far between. Sorry to see Saab go into receivership and now no longer make this car. This was a hidden gem.
