Wish they we're going to continue to make this veh
6 speed auto gives me 29 mpg and even with the v6. This car is very stylish and love to drive it! Has all kinds of power and the heated seats are great. The tilt wheel is useless cause it barely moves to make a difference. The leather seats are great, always wanted leather.

This is an excellant tow car for RVers. Like the 4 cyl economy. 6 speed auto trans. LED tail lights. The close price was very good so I bought two.

I just had to buy 1 more Saturn
I wasn't in the market to buy a new car, but once Saturn announced that they were officially going out of business, I decided to buy 1 more Saturn before they were gone. This is my 3rd Saturn over the last 17 years, and without a doubt, the best I've driven. My first 2 Saturns ended up with over 350,000 miles between them, and I expect this one to go even further! If you can still find one around, this would be a great vehicle to buy.

Staurn Aura
I have been extremely happy with this vehicle. I get great mileage in the city and the highway. I travel often over weekends driving about 800-1000 miles. The Aura has been a great car for these trips--comfortable, reliable, and ecconomical. Around the city I use the vehicle for work and it has been all I could ask for. I love the two tone leather, the sunroof, XM radio, and all the standrd features.

So far, so good...
I've only had my Saturn Aura for two weeks, but I've already driven it 1,200 miles. The gas mileage has been as advertised, the features are great for the money, and people have complimented the car's look. Overall, I've pleased with it and love driving it because of the handling. The negatives have been not enough storage in the car (no place for sunglasses, few cupholders, etc.).

Good Value
The car is well equipped, and handles like a dream. Highway milage is 32+. For the same money and compared to a Corolla, its a no brainer. The Aura is a great choice. Let's buy American.

Good Car for the Money
Bought the car new in 2008. No major issues. I've had some minor mechanical issues that shouldn't be for a new car. Great styling and handles the road very well. V-6 has a lot of pep to it. The gas mileage isn't as good as I'd like, especially with city driving. Saturn almost had it all together except for the easy stuff: the interior. Shoddy quality. I have cloth seats and already showing wear. One spot on the drivers seat will be a hole in the near future. Seats are not that comfortable. Great leg and head room though.

Comfort, European style and economic performance
We've owned over 30 cars/trucks over the years what with ourselves and a family of young drivers. We owned Nissan, Toyota, Renault, Chevrolet, Pontiac, Dodge, Plymouth, Mitsubishi, and a few more. We had a nice Toyota Sienna mini van, and the last we bought in a foreign brand. It had it's problems. But we still shopped and drove a Toyota Camry, Mazda 6, and Saab 9-3. We really liked the Mazda and Saab. The Camry didn't seem as great a car as it has been talked up. Plus the price even with low interest. The Saturn Aura XR-4 won hands down for price, features, safety, and fuel efficiency. We got an Aura XR-4, 6 speed automatic and all options. It has peppy performance around town and getting on the freeway. We are getting a combined 29-31 mpg calculated each tankful. Haven't had it on anything longer than a 200 mile highway trip, but it got 34.2 on that with only 600 miles on it at that time. The tan leather seats and interior are top notch. The seats are very comfortable for both my wife and I. I am 5-11 and fit in it very comfortably. We have both an 8-way power driver seat and a 6-way power passenger seat. Comparing it to Toyota, Mazda, as well as looking at few other brands , the Aura has great fit and finish, a nice European design, a smooth, comfortable ride, and XM radio plus OnStar standard for safety. It has a full compliment of front, side, and head curtain airbags. My wife wanted to make sure it had all that! We also got it for a price $2,000 to $4,500 less than the other cars we looked at. The Chevy Malibu was also nice, but the price was a bit more and the Saturn looks and feels a bit more upscale. Friends, and family are really surprised when they look at or ride in our new Aura. It has plush European amenities without being gaudy or over the top. It is solid, quiet riding, smooth and gets great mileage. We thought about the 6 cylinder, but this works for us, and feels even stronger than the Toyota Camry we test drove.
