This car has excellent turning radius- U turns👍

I purchased this car in 2008, had 1 owner prior to me. The stock rims & stereo speakers are awesome! I love the set up for the spedometer in the center front is different to get used to but nice once you do.This car is basically everything I could ever ask for. However the windows do have a problem rolling up-and-down sometimes. I'll have to replace the sunroof, because it does not work for me anymore. I wish the backseat had 3 seats instead of the center plastic consul. Looks pretty ok and love the "suicide doors", but wouldn't recommend to one carrying baby because of the doors being difficult when in a crunch spot.

Most reliable car I have owned

This is a good size and best performance when I would commute in it, looks more like a 4 door honda, clean title, up to date registration, pink slip in hand

Waste of money

This car had problems every single year we owned it. The power steering went out every other year, and it was a motor, not fluid so it was about 300 dollars every time we had it fixed. It also had ignition switch problems. Every single year!! It got ok gas mileage, but nothing compared to Honda Civic or accords or a Toyota Camry.

Most reliable car I've had

This car handled day to day driving to and from campus, jobs, and everywhere else I needed to go. Extremely reliable, safe, and sturdy. Extremely comfortable for longer drives. All of the windows are tinted and makes for great driving on a sunny day.

No aux

There wasn?t a place for an aux cord BUT has a button for aux. that doesn?t even make sense. Why have the button for Aux but doesn?t have a place to plug your phone in. It doesn?t even have Bluetooth which is understandable because it doesn?t give you the option but it gave me the option for aux but there should be a place to use the freaking aux

My Ion

I have owned this vehicle since brand new and I love it. it is also manual transmission which makes it even more exciting to drive. This is my second Saturn. This vehicle was made with much thought. The dashboard is in a spot where all the dials are not hidden by the steering wheel. The turning radius too is the best i have ever seen. I can turn on a dime with this car. In winter it warms up quickly as well.

Design foolishness ended Saturn, not business mode

This car got 34 mpg. It had a decent stereo and handled ok. It was quieter than my similar Civic. That's about it. Everything else was mediocre to junky. Of particular note for design foolishness, was the fact that the driver's side door mirror could not adjust outward sufficiently for a person over 5'10". I am fortunately shorter than that, but kept it at the limit of its travel. How could you build a car with a seat that can slide back past where you can see correctly in the mirror? I had constant trouble with the engine control system. Perhaps this was the only 2.0 liter Ecotek engine ever put through a manual transmission, or perhaps the Saturn people were not the same as the GM people for powertrain? At any rate, it could not correctly operate at throttle tip in, especially when below normal operating temperature and above -20 F. Made leaving a parking lot difficult, and caused the previous owner to glaze the clutch disc and flywheel. The dealer could not fix it under warranty, in spite of 16 updates to the computer. I replaced the throttle body and the throttle pedal position sensor, with no improvement. If you started out from a cold engine, and attempted to hold a steady 10 mph, the throttle would start flapping open and closed, and give you whiplash and squeal the tires like a novice learning how to use a clutch. Good riddance, Saturn!
