My V6 AWD VUE looks nice on the outside but exterior look is strictly for those that are looking. Chrome package is ok. Forget running boards. They look good but mine actually get in my way. Get mud flaps. The VUE kicks up a lot of dirt and the interior of the doors gets pretty nasty. Get the sunroof air deflector; it eliminates horrendous noise when the sunroof is opened. Rooftop cross rails are pretty; not sure if they are needed. Some VUE accessories need to be installed by the dealer. Mine tried to whack me with an additional $300.00 over quoted but agreed to eat the cost. Order the extra?s online and install them yourself. Wood grain and leather seats look nice but, compared to my Ford, the leather seems cheap and the seats are small. Plenty of head and leg room up front but rear leg room is exiguous unless short people drive. Buttons in good spots; no place to put change; cup holder?s small; no electronic passenger seat option. Small cubby holes for storage but no real thought in design. 180 watt upgraded stereo - waste of money. My Taurus?s radio on 3 volume equivalent to VUE on 6. Maybe the cabin noise is too loud. 3 12v outlets, one very well hidden ? good luck finding it. They won?t heat my Taurus?s cigarette lighter either. My 02 Taurus?s highway MPG averaged 26. VUE highway MPG so far 22.5. That?s with 5 yrs of technological advances. Not much more than my gas guzzling Explorer. VUE 248hp performance is impressive ? she?ll get up and move. My daughters 4 cylinder has pretty good power too so save money; get the 4 popper with better MPG. I thought about getting the hybrid but with only 170hp and this being Saturn?s maiden voyage I thought it best to wait. The view from the VUE is good and unobstructed. Steering seems odd but I?m sure I?ll get used to the handle and it will be fine. Even though the seats are small for me they are not uncomfortable once you find the right position for your body style. ?Basic? ONSTAR is junk and at $300.00 for 1,000 minutes of hands free phone time - they got to be kidding!!! For the cost of ONSTAR you?re better off with a Garmin GPS and a cell phone and, their portable!! I like my VUE but American auto makers need to pay more attention to customers. You can?t live on ?Buy American? and not produce something worth the money. Saturn used to be quality. Now it?s just another American auto maker.

It will get up and fly!

I love the amount of power it has. Its the perfect size as well, no trouble parking this one. Traded in my 02 Tahoe for the Vue. I am saving about $150.00 a month in gas!
