My family got the XE model of this car new, and it was passed down to me when I started High School as my first car, which my sister and I drove until just this past month when we sold it at about 200k Miles. This thing was trooper and the most reliable car we've owned by far. We barely had to do any work on it other than the regular maintenance (the singular problem we had was the fan belt breaking and that was an easy fix on our own), it handled well, it got through snow, mud and rain just fine, and it was overall just a solid car. They genuinely do not make them like this anymore and if you can find one in near new condition, I definitely recommend it for anyone that needs something reliable to just drive around and not have to worry.

Good car, but...
I bought this car as a Hail Mary and as a certified pre-owned. I bought it 3 years ago at 86k miles on it, I thought I got a deal. It’s a good car, got me to a to b without too much trouble, but... Two years ago I had some transmission issues Last year it was the front bearings This year I had to replace the brakes, bearings, tires and an alternator and belt. Granted I bought it at 86k and currently has 175k but after just replacing the alternator it worked fine for a few days and now it’s dead, it’s like casting the resurrection spell for it to turn on again. If you need a reliable vehicle I wouldn’t choose Chevy/GMC products again, seems like I have to replace used cars every 4 years.

Lemon
I have put so much money for repairs that it makes it impossible for Resale value. I purchased it used from champion Chevy motors in Howell Michigan. They gave me a 30 day warranty and the week following the 30 days I had to get a new transmission installed. After that I needed another engine and every three months I am putting in an average of $400 to keep it running. Worst gas mileage around 12 miles per gallon, still poor for a V6 AWD. Champion Chevy dealer Would not work with me Concluding a poor dealership and poor valued transportation means.

Decent Car
My Saturn was an alright car! The gas was ok for being an suv, it offered lots of storage, and was spacious (which is a huge deal because I’m 5’10, my boyfriend is 6’5 and we have a Great Dane😂). Even with very routine maintenance, it seemed as though the transmission slipped a bit while in 5th gear and the tire pressure sensors went out a week after I had al 4 replaced. If you’re ok with those issues and you’re able to fix them without issues, this could be an awesome car for you.

2009 Saturn VUE still looks new and in style!!!
I wish Saturn was still in business 🥺 I have a 2002 Saturn L200 with 83,000 miles and the VUE with 54,000 miles. They both look and run great. Best cars ever!!! I would have bought another one but since no longer made I opted for a Subaru. Hope it turns out to be as good as they are......,

My heart hurts that Saturn is no more
Saturns were always the best cars for me and my wife. We owned 8 of them in total, not all at the same time of course. When we needed a cheap car, under 5k, I was delighted to find this 2009 Saturn Vue. It is solid, rides better than my Mazda CX-5, can carry more too. My only complaint isn't really a valid one. The car I bought has the 4 cylinder engine and it's just not powerful enough for my tastes. I always had 6 cylinder engines when I bought before. But in the used car market, you can't really choose your engine. Even so, it's still got enough power for pretty much everything but a quick dash into traffic on the on-ramp. I really miss my Saturns.

I purchased this Saturn Vue from a great dealer and salesman at the Infiniti of Orland Park, for my daughter. She really likes the car.
