2005 Scion XA... Bullet Proof!

2005 Scion XA. Bought @ 158,000. Running Flawlessly @ 167,500. Put about $1,100 in Basic Tuning, Oil Change to Full Syn, Matching Filter, Air Filter. No Engine lights. No Issues with my OBT2 Sensor. No Leaks anywhere! Manual 32-37 when New... My last 4 Averages are 34.2 consistently. I drive about 30% Highway. My 2005 Scion XA had a long Carfax Sheet of Regular Care... big reason I paid the $4,400 from dealer ask of $4,900. A Best Buy? I expect 300, 000 from this time machine. A simple car... made to run forever? Very, very happy. Even for a small engine... it's FUN to drive!

tC is fun to drive, reliable.

The Release 1.0 limited edition adds some nice styling touches - billet aluminium engine parts, sway bar, rear spoiler. tC 5 speed in (absolute red only ) is stylish and semi sporty for a great price.

Loved every day and mile driven

This vehicle is one of the best if not the greatest vehicle I could have ever owned. Bought it at the auto auction and have had it now going on 7 years and other than routine maintenance it has went beyond my expectations and than some.

Great performance & handling for a little 4cyl

This car is a great commuter with economical MPG and reliability for the low cost value. Obviously well maintained as it has smooth acceleration with everthing solid and tight under the hood.

Best first car I could ask for

I bought an 05 tC with about 60k on the odometer. I have put 20,000 on it and have only had problems with brakes. The engines of these cars are insanely reliable. It definitely has a fun factor as well. The feeling of driving and downshifting while hearing the VIVITEC variable cam system is unlike any other. I’ve driven 5.7L trucks that aren’t as fun as this car.

Most reliable car I've ever owned!

I bought my 2005 Scion TC in August 2004. I went to the Toyota dealership to buy a RAV4, was shown this new brand, test drove it and fell in love. I custom ordered mine. I will have had it for 15 years this August and there have been no real issues. It has a lot of pep and I've definitely gotten my money's worth. Looking at getting a new car, but I've decided I'm not yet ready to part with my TC. I'm really sad they quit making them because I'd buy another one in a heartbeat!

Brings back to my sports car days.

Great car with a lot of power. Draws looks. Need I say it's a Scion. Seats are very comfortable. Suprisingly roomie in back seat. Good on gas. Easy to drive.

Sporty, inexpensive car

I have owned two of these. The first one, unfortunately, was totaled by a tree trimming truck that hit me from behind. I bought a second one and had that one for 8 years. It was reliable transportation, decent pep and pick up, good in the snow, good gas mileage -- about 27-28 mpg city.

My first and only car for 13 years

I love it! I fell in love with it the first time I saw it 13 years ago. I am so sad to have to sell it now, but I don?t feel it?s really age-appropriate for me anymore and I?m ready for a more grown-up-looking car. Until this day, the car hasn?t given me any problems (knock on wood). Not sure if I just got lucky, or maintenance really does pay off. Either way, it is worth every penny I paid for it.
