Very fun to drive!
I have enjoyed my vehicle! It is smooth, quiet, beautiful, and fun. You should buy this car! I looked at the Civic and the Mazda 3, but none compared with all the features for the value. The quality is assumed with the name Toyota as a parent company. The glass roof with 2 moon roofs is awesome. I never had a sunroof before and I love it now. I always use it when its not too sunny. The standard features make this car very well equiped for its opening price. There is also so much you can upgrade to. Great car!

Sporty Reliable Vehicle for a Great Price
I got my new 2007 just before Xmas '06 and just love it. The ride and acceleration are better than average for a car of this size. I spent the extra money for the additional airbags, taillights, and the larger rear mounted sub-woofer. The additional airbags give you added protection that's worth twice the price. I think the brighter taillights keep drivers behind you more alert when you hit your brake pedal, and the added sub-woofer is o.k.....it's not the best, but if you go buy a bigger custom job you'll lose all your rear storage space. So I've got a little better base, and still have storage space if I need it. ALL-In-ALL A GREAT CAR!!!!!!

Honda Killer
This car is a great deal for the money. It is an extremely reliable car. Comparing it to a similar the new Civic SI, you will find more space inside, and a more comfortable ride all thanks to the Lexus designed suspension. The only problem this car has is the blind spots, similar to its counterpart the Celia. While, it may come up short on the performance end a few bolt on mods make it able to run with the Si and simlar cars such as the Colbalt SS, Mazda 3s and possibly even the Saturn Ion redline edition. Be sure not to waste your money of the factory sub, the amount of base isn't worth the price. THe Aux adapater, that is meant for an Ipod could have been done better. How about an actual Ipod adapter for the deck? Over all this is an awesome car and I would recomend it to anyone, looking for something quick, good on gas, and more solid than the old average Honda Civic.

Great Car
I absolutly love the car but i'm sure if your on this site you are most likely looking for the negitives. The only negitive I can find about this car are the tires they give you. The tires just spin in the rain I can't even imagine in the snow. Then again i'm not the slowest driver if you get what i'm saying.

Better than my previous more expensive cars.
I have had this car for about 8 months now. I really like the way it handles and there is very little wind noise or rattles. The gas mileage is decent but could have been better if they had used the same gear spacing as the Camry. With the rear seats up I still have loads of room for groceries in the hatch. I have not yet had to fold them down to accommodate anything sizeable. The sunroof is very nice. The car looks very good for a compact coupe. It comes with a good speaker system and pretty much most any creature comforts most people need. Leather is not an option unless installed at a costly price by the dealer. Handles well and has decent acceleration. I just wish it were rear wheel drive. Excellent features, performance and quality for the price. Nothing comes close.

One of the best values out there - very pleased!
Bought the car a little over a month ago. Manual transmission with side airbags. Had to order it - waited only three weeks. Right now have just over a 1,000 miles. On three tanks of gas have averaged 27 mi/gl. So far no infamous rattles, but sometimes there are some creaks here and there when riding on rough pavement or over bumps. Overall I like the design, comfort, and quality of the interior. In my opinion, rear moonroof is unnecessary - I would've preferred a hard good quality front sunroof sliding cover instead. Mats for $150 are a rip-off. Ride and handling are similar to a modern sporty sedan such as an Accord, which I also happen to own - a 2005. Handling is not as responsive as I would like it to be for this type of vehicle - that's comparing with a `98 VW Golf that in my opinion is excellent in handling department. Acceleration however is near excellent. The clutch is very 'touchy-feely' - it took me over a week to get used to it enough such that the take offs are smooth every time without me thinking about it. One thing I would change about this car is that I would've liked to have a sixth OD gear for two reasons: the engine screams at nearly 4K RPM when cruising at 80 mph and it would probably significantly improve gas consumption at highway cruising speeds. My budget was $20K out the door limit. Honda Civic EX and VW Rabbit were the only serious contenders, and Ford Focus and Hyudai Tiburon a distant third and fourth. With Focus, I am not thrilled with the exterior design, and poor quality fit and finish of the interior was the real deal breaker. Tiburon had absolutely no head room and I'm only 5'6" - definitely a deal breaker. With VW I simply did not trust first year model reliability of a new 5 cyl. engine and it did not handle as well as my old '98 Golf (a side note: this car was very unreliable - constant engine, ignition, various sensors, and AC problems). The tC in my book matches or beats Civic EX in every category (including price) except fuel economy (which is a huge plus in Civic's favor); plus I dislike the Civic's interior design and tC's hatchback makes it a lot more versatile. Overall I am very pleased with my purchase, and look forward to driving the tC everyday.

Very Excited About Owning this Car!
I have had this car for two days (since Sept. 22nd) and granted it is not long enough to know for sure how the quality is going to hold-up over time; however, I am very excited about owning this car. I have read quite a few reviews from other new tC owners and the majority I would agree with in terms of what you get for the money. I am a previous toyota pickup truck owner and I just love the way the tC handles comparatively. I love the amount of room it has for a smaller car. I love the IPOD compatibility - great choice for me as I hate commercials and radio DJ talk-shows. I love the automatic tire pressure monitoring system, especially since I have a bad history of not doing it myself:-) I love that I get the first three oil changes for free AND that the frequency for oil changes is 5K miles instead of 3.5K with most other vehicles. I am a bit disappointed by the quality of fabric that is used to cover the front seats - while sitting in back, if the light is just right, you can see directly into the back of the front seats - all the parts and pieces. So you need to be very careful not to tear the thin fabric covering the inerts i.e. keep kids feet off of the back of the seats! I also got the automatic dimming mirror, and though I am happy with it, I really wish it came with the compass option instead of the "mood-lighting." I realize the lighting is in-line with the other options an owner can choose to have, however, I think it is just over-kill. I would much prefer the practical option over the ambient lighting. Overall, I am thrilled and can't wait to take it on a long road trip!
