2008 Scion tC consumer reviews

Owning a 2008 Scion tC is nothing much to arque about. Though, there are some flaws such as Handling through bumps-feels unstable. Cautious driving are needed when driving on wet pavement because wheels tend to spin when accelerating on 1st gear. Enough power to go through any hills with ease. In & Out stylings are average though it is hard while changing lanes when looking both sides. All in all its the Best Money Can Buy!

I bought my 2008 TC 3 weeks ago. And I disagre to those who say that car is not good in the highways. I just drove it from Houston to Miami and if felt nice. The 5 speed transmission was hard to handle it when I just bought it, but after that 1300 miles drive it got smooth and now shifting is easier and faster. It also saves gas. Other 4-cylinder and 2.4L won't save as much gas as the TC. Recommended to EVERYONE. Sporty, nice, and fast.

After being hit in a hit and run 3 months ago i decided it was time to upgrade to a new car. Still stayed in the toyotoa area, had a 00 corolla. When i seen the tc i was in awe with the car. Test drove 3 to compare them to each and loved each test. I now own my own and love every minute of it .The guy at the dealership said it was a bumpy ride, I disagree! I took my brand new car home to Salisbury,MD which isa 4hr drive from Richmond,Va where i live at now and every minute of it was smooth even on VA's bumpy roads. I Love my new car!! Just wished the cd player was a 6cd changer but oh well its all good!!

I recently had a 2008 Scion tC, and it was totaled in a minor accident. I must comment on the safety of the vehicle. I was not hurt at all and the cars safety features worked just as described. I went to purchase a replacement vehicle and wound up with the 2008 Scion tC RS 4.0. This car is amazing! The seats are so confortable and the look is simply astonishing. I would recommend this vehicle to anyone! Release series or not, the tC is a great deal and you definitely get more for your money!

I love my Scion. I bought it 2 months ago. It's more roomy than it looks, especially with the backseat down. The value for the money is incredible. It comes with great rims, but careful not to scrape them. The tires are low to the ground. Gas mileage not so bad, comes with: good stereo (IPOD capability), sporty steering wheel and sleek interior, knee airbags, great rims, sunroof and backseat moonroof, flap to cover back cargo, seats recline flat, firstaid kit. If I HAD to give negatives it would be: side mirrors do not fold, no optional seat heating.

Just bought the Scion 2008TC, Waveline Pearl color, Automatic. A very nice, good looking car that is fairly peppy, responsive and with a smoother ride than others we test drove. We traded in the wifes Chevy Blazer, that we hated. She simply wanted a small car or something small and nice with 4 doors to drive a few miles to work each day. Hopefully this will be a reliable car, guessing average, but unknown as of now. A VW Rabbit was being considered as her first choice after looking at the vw beattle, chevy aero, toyota matrix and corolla, honda fit and civic. Also saturns, ford escape and edge and similar suvs were too large for what she liked since driving the blazer for 6 years. The VW Rabbit was nice for her and we almost bought it, but couldn't pick a color she liked. We went back to the Toyota dealer to look again and while leaving, we both noticed a Scion TC and asked about the Color and the 2 moon roofs. We decided to open the door and look in. The front seatback was easy to tilt and then slide forward allowing ample room to get into the back seats (which tilt back as well). It was also easy to return the front seat to the same original position. My wife then said a 2 door would be good and really loved the color. This was a Friday and we decided to test drive it and 4 hours later we owned it, and drove it home with us. We still have to take it back on Monday to have the radio put in. The radio was the only concern so far, because we couldn't listen to it or even see which one we wanted, until they re-open the service department on Monday. I asked about upgrading to the premium radio, but, for about $400 additional money and no deduction for the standard radio, it seemed like it was not a fair price to pay for just a little different look. In other words, we will still get the standard radio installed and then could later buy the preminum radio for about the same $400 price according to what they told us. We will find out the real story on Monday, I guess. We also purchased the $171 floor mats which I later saw on other web sites for $70. Accessories 'appear' to be costly. All in all, we both really love the car and my wife is very excited and happy with her new vehicle. Our 18,19 and 23 year old kids are jealous as well.

This car is AWESOME. I was going in for a 2007 but wound up getting an '08 for the extra airbags. I got the new wave line pearl and it's absolutly stunning. It rides smooth with great handling and the sound system is amazing, especially with the ipod connector. I actually enjoyed sitting in traffic today.
