  • Fun daily driver with nice response time.

Fun daily driver with nice response time. The exterior is sharp (especially compared to the new models). The exhaust has a great throaty tone to it. My biggest complaint is the interior air controls. All subarus have them and they are not intuitive.

  • The most exhilarating compact sedan you will drive

The Subaru WRX lost its signature subie rumble when it was redesigned with the all new FA20DIT engine. However, don't let that deter you from this Subaru WRX because what it lacks for in noise it more than makes up for in the performance department. The instant turbo spool and glorious turbo noises that come from under the hood can be only described as HEAVEN. The car offers more performance than what can legally be had on the streets and that is ok with me. The perfect car that doubles as a family sedan.

  • Solid Driver's Car

My 2017 WRX does a good balancing act as a fun, sporty driver's car and a family hauler. Perhaps the quality is just shy of a Honda, but I'm quite satisfied with it!

  • Pocket Rocket

Interior quality can be improved. Rattles and shakes from day one. It common across most Subaru cars, but it's high time the company improve on that.

  • Car had numerous problems since I got it.

Replaced the battery after the first year, throwout bearing replaced on second year, oil leak after 4th maintenance visit. By end of 2nd year, 33000 miles. The car engine trembled with engine lights on during my drive. Took two months for tech to figure out the issue and currently on the fourth month trying to get a replacement vehicle. Car is fun to drive but not reliable at all.

  • Fun to drive

Owned a 2006 Subaru wrx before upgrade to a 2017 wrx I don’t regret it yet, more roomy and quiet, better gas mileage ,nice a/c . Only one key fob though, that’s my only complaint so far.

  • Transmission issues

I wanted a fun daily driver so I purchased the WRX as it is AWD. The car had a transmission issue where first gear would pop out. Tried to get it fixed at a dealer nearby, they claimed they "fixed" it by replacing things, but the problem persisted. Bring it back again, and now they claim it is my fault. It was a decent car, but the headaches that came with it were not worth it. I have lost faith in Subaru.

  • fun, sporty, full of features, yet economical

car was full of creature comforts, from heated seats and mirrors,to back up camera and paddle shifters. some road noise but its the nature of the beast for this model. i didn't buy it for comfort. Its a sports car with a budget that gives you AWD, turbo and great styling!
