Best car ever.

My 2019 Avalon is truly an incredible car. I bought the top-of-the-line Limited Hybrid with the tech package (the only available package) and I can say that it is basically a Lexus ES 350 Hybrid with a different grille. From the incredibly soft and comfortable leather seats (heated AND cooled) to the amazing stereo to the electrically-adjustable steering wheel (that lifts out of your way when you kill the engine), it is a luxurious miracle. The new hybrid engine (used also in the Camry and RAV4), produces an incredible 40+ miles per gallon in this truly luxury vehicle. It is amazingly quiet on the highway and in town, and it has the normal Toyota reliability. It also has the pep to scale a freeway ramp with no problem--not quite as fast as the outstanding V6 that Toyota uses, but enough for daily travel. The stereo is great, and using my Galaxy S9 for music works well. Frankly, I wish it had a CD player, as I still have a bunch of them, but all car companies are dropping them, and now that Toyota finally has Android Auto as well as Apple CarPlay, all is well in the world. Incredible luxury (in a Toyota!), astounding gas mileage, and smooth, pleasant day-to-day driving. It's the whole package.

Toyota Avalon Hybrid is our is our 4th. LoveToyota

Love it, everything we expect in an luxury automobile. 43 average miles pg. The deal we made was the same price as total gas vehicle. So why not make the purchase.

great car

This car has met almost all of our needs. Great seats with cooling and the passenger side raises up for short people. Very comfortable. like the lane assist. Could have more storage in the front. Lost some from the 2009.

Most satisfying car I have ever owned

Amazingly comfortable, quiet, and relaxing to drive. Sound system is crisp and clean to full volume; HUD is extremely useful; outside visibility excellent. All the technology is integrated to work together seamlessly. The armrests are just the right height for me, and have enough elbow room to share with front passenger without bumping. I am so relaxed while driving now - way less stress than ever before. I was worried it would be harder to get in an out of because it is lower than my other cars. But that is not a problem at all, and my back and legs feel just fine after a multi-hour ride. The ride is very smooth; cornering is flat. Brakes work easily, and are strong. LED headlights and cornering lights give totally new feeling to night driving, Ventilated seats add a new dimension to creature comfort on warm days - even with A/C. Even the small touches are quite useful: the pinhole light in the ceiling illuminating the gear shift quadrant; lighted cup holders and door handles. Fold-down rear seats expand the giant trunk space. And the emergency warning/stop features associated with pedestrian detection, object detection, rear cross traffic, all work very well. I'm still getting used to a 2ft. longer car that my 2009 Prius, but the 360 degree cameras save the day. Outside mirror tilt when reversing is very well aimed and useful, too. Mileage? I average 48mpg. Incredible! A PERFECT car.

Excellent car for the purchase price.

Purchased this car based on the very high rating given by Consumers Report magazine, the moderate price for the quality it provides and my particular need for the car which is that it will be used for 6 months out of each year and stored 6 months.

Great Car! Very comfortable and getting 42 MPG !

We have had this car for almost a year now and I thing back about how I was on the fence about getting the hybrid vs the standard V6 gas engine. I am so glad I went hybrid. I absolutely love the car. Its genuinely fun to drive, quiet - very quiet, handles great.. all this and getting 42 mpg. I'm still in awe. We still have my wifes "15" Avalon V6, and that drives great and may be quicker when you get into the pedal but there is a slight delay when you punch it, With the Hybrid the power is instant and smooth. The Hybrid is not as fast as the V6 but not by much.... and I have to mention again - 42mpg for a large comfortable car - I'm still smiling!

Best car I have ever owned

This car is packed with all sorts of technology and is whisper quiet. I am older so my driving is more conservative but this car has no problem stepping out when getting on a highway. I only have two complaints: On the interior, no glass case as I have had in many previous cars and no handle or pull strap on trunk to close so I have to put my hand an top of trunk to close which usually leaves prints on the black color. Overall, a really great car.

Best value full sedan money can buy

Great quality, style, performance, safety and comfort for a car at half the price of a Tesla. The new Toyota Avalon Hybrid is worth every penny paid!
