Comfortable, Reliable and Economical Car

This is the second 2009 Toyota Camry LE we've purchased (1st was totaled by a red light runner). Both cars have been quiet and comfortable for both short and long trips. Both cars have delivered great gas mileage (21-25 MPG in town; about 30-33 freeway). Both cars handle well at both low and high speeds. Toyota has a known issue with their sun visors from this era - the visors will break and not stay in place. Our 2nd Camry had this issue, so I had to replace the visor. Not a big problem, just noting it for the record.

The newest model car I have owned

This car is great for driving many miles every day. At high miles the body and performance is great. Would be a great one for a honeymoon.

Great family sedan

I've own a 2009 Camry for almost 6 years. Very dependable and comfortable car. No real issues. The only concern I have is the amount of recalls by Toyota but the performance of the car itself isn't an issue.

Dashboard MELTING !!!!

I have no complaints about the mechanics of the car its the dashboard melting that has me very upset. The car has 91,000 miles and runs great but after seeing chunks come off the dashboard and it becoming very sticky to the touch when I would clean the dashboard with a non toxic cleaner I brought it to the dealer and was told not there problem. I then went on Google and found numerous people complaining on many sites with the same problem to no avail as Toyota wants nothing to do with a fix.Toyota wants $1200 for a new dashboard. I had to purchase a dashboard rug type cover in order to drive the car as it looks like CRAP without it.

I bought another newer camry!

It is wonderful on gas and a very reliable car. Great gas mileage and recently bought another new camry. Fun to drive and doesn't feel like a four cylinder car.
