2022 Cross road noisy

I have the 2022 LE, Car looks good, gets 27mpg in town. Purchased vehicle site unseen and picked up at night and only drove in a 45-55mph area. Shame on me! Trying get my wife a Christmas present. The main issues for us is ROAD NOISE! No insulation or cavity wax/sound pads or undercoat. Not happy with this car for 25k. Also the command screen offers navigation but you have to go to the app and then it does not offer so then you have to call etc. The interior has limited pockets for things. Around town a pretty good car handles well, Hwy tripe too much noise. No Cd, no Garage door option, sets well for average size person, don't like the cruise slow down option, seat belt ding is way too loud! Like the lane change warning feature and rear cross traffic indicator.

Ugh…..

Well, just to let ya know where I'm at on my new Toyota Corolla Cross. It's a cute car. Gets good gas mileage around town and to work and back. Comfortable. But..... I really enjoy taking road trips. My Rav 4 was a great trip car- I mean I put almost 200k miles on it 4 years! I recently took my first road trip in my new car and well, it wasn't all that. I mean the gas mileage was 25-28mpg/ not good. That was on the interstate too. I get better mileage in town. This car has no power . Every time I entered I-20 I had to put the excelerator to the floor and pray I didn't get ran over. I did not feel safe. And speaking of safe. I was driving to west Texas and it's windy out there. It was difficult at times to keep the car in my lane from the wind. And I was behind two 18 wheelers at one point and had almost no control of the car, I guess it was the backdraft from the trucks. I had my grandson with me and didn't feel safe. Anyway, I do regret making the decision to downgrade from my RAV4 to the Corolla cross. Thanks for listening.

Reliable and sturday

Traded in Corolla for Cross. Cross interior is same but is only similarity. Cross is much heavier, slower and of course, not as good on gas mileage. Car feels sturdy and safe as expected with a Toyota. Styling is good for an SUV. Engine stop and start takes some getting used to but only kicks in when you press hard on brake after a stop.
