Best small car on the road for the price

I honestly can't imagine needing more out of this in a small car. It has very little legroom in the back seat, but since I only use the back seat for groceries, and I'm vegan so my groceries don't have legs, it's fine for me. Pick up is very good and visibility is excellent. Drives larger than it is. One tiny complaint would be the audio on the SE version which is what I bought. Not the greatest sound in the world. If you're an audiophile you'll want the XSE with upgraded audio or put in your own system after you buy the car. Other than that, this car was very well designed and thought out by Toyota. I drove a bunch of small cars. The Kias and Hyundais didn't feel as well built. The Mazda 3 felt good and strong but is several thousand dollars more. The Honda Civic hatchback is great with the turbo engine but again, similarly appointed, costs much more. If you need a car for your daily commute to work and errands on weekends, it's hard to see finding a better value than the Corolla Hatchback.

Affordable, modern, and inexpensive car

Amazing compact family car. If you’re looking to get a small four door, this is one of the best choices. With a modern look and it’s simplicity, it makes driving a fun experience.

Economic yet a blast to drive.

The XSE Corolla is fun to drive and the upgrades from remote start to JBL sound system makes the comfort level a joy. Loving my seat warmers since it’s getting colder now.

yummyhatch

this car is super sweet. meets almost all criteria i was looking for in a car. hatchback, doesn't have silly rear end styling like the civic hatch, manual gearbox is super smooth, great economy with a little bit of zip. only downfall thus far i'd say is a desire for a little more zip. which is hard to justify with mpg. if there was only a way to add 40 hp without turbo charge or v6....buuut not happening. all in all, great bang for your buck. xse is totally worth the extra $

I was surprised from the first time I test drive it - very quiet and I like the sporty features in it too! Very cool gears shifting handles on both sides 9f the steering wheel. I'm currently leasung it but certainly thinking about buying it out!

Funnest economy car I’ve owned

Great fuel mileage and fun little car to drive. Love the manual transmission. The XSE has many features that make this economy car feel like a sports car.
