2018 Toyota Highlander consumer reviews

My husband wanted to get me out of my Durango and into a Toyota Highlander. I was very hesitant as I have only driven Durangos for the past 13 years. I went and test drove a Highlander fell in love with it. The car has lots of leg room, drives nice and smooth. I love all the options that come with the car!

I bought this highlander for family. Large room for baby and good view, so he does not cry now. large cargo space for stroller. engine is power and it is fuel economic. No apple car play or android app. quiet and smooth. Overall, it is a good family suv.

This car has it all. I have the Limited Platinum trim and it lacks in nothing. It has a smooth ride, decent gas mileage (I've had it a week and I'm averaging 22 MPH combined), powerful acceleration and the safety features are so useful. Mine has the captain's chairs and the 3rd row, both rows are very comfortable. The kids love the panoramic moon roof. I love the safety ratings and drive. I feel safe driving this car and it also feels luxurious. The ONLY downfall is that it did not have remote start, I had to pay extra for that. It can sense rain and turn on the wipers automatically but it didn't have remote start...that surprised me. It was a small add-on but I would like to see it as standard in the Limited trim, especially the Platinum, going forward. I wouldn't take a star away from any of the categories for it, but it is worth noting.

This is my second Highlander and I couldn't be more please with it. The safety features are outstanding. The appearance is pleasing to the eye and the interior is just what I wanted. I wouldn't trade it for a Rolls.

I test drove this vehicle yesterday and liked everything about it except the front seats. The headrest seemed to push my head forward and I was unable to find a comfortable driving position. I understand they are for whiplash protection but they seem intrusive. Will not buy for this reason; otherwise, definitely would. Salesman just said "you'll get used to it."

GPS is bad if u lose cell signal gps freezes if your lost your in trouble, cannot set weather to your own town or zip code

This car met our needs, had adequate leg room in the front and very comfortable and stylish interior. The safety features are an added plus we looked for when purchasing.

Love SE AWD! Smoothest ride we have ever had. Only criticism is it is smallest dimensions of mid-size SUV, but we figured the large dimensions on others (eg. Traverse and Pilot) would only get you so much further. Also, tech and dashboard could use a bit of makeover but still looks nice.

its a great family truck with a ton of seating and cargo space. lots and lots of safity features. soft and comfortable. however, its definitely not a sports car

I love what I get in the Highlander: reliability, room, good gas mileage. But my 2018 XLE has a smoother and stronger ride and the standard features are improved. Once again, I'm happy with my SUV.
