Always buy Certified cars!

This is my second Certified Prius. I purchased a 2011 with 70,000 miles and passed it on to my son. It now has over 150,000 with no problems at all. The only thing is change oil every 10,000 miles. I am expecting the same from the Certified 2013 I just purchased.

Reliable, efficient, safe...everything I want

Currently driving my fourth Prius and enjoying it just like the previous ones. Reliability and comfort are huge factors for me and this model has never disappointed. Besides changing oil every 10,000 miles and replacing tires and windshield wipers, these cars have needed nothing.

Great, gas-saving vehicle

Car met all my needs. I wish I didn't need a different style to accommodate my disability. Easy-to drive, plenty of power. Reliable.

Love the gas mileage but has interior flaws

I love the gas mileage. However, the shape of the car looks like a humpback roach. . Why couldn't they design it in a cool body style like the old Toyota Superas? Why does economical have to be ugly? The entertainment system display cannot be seen at all during the day as the sun shows on the screen and makes it totally disappear. The plug in for your cell phone is deep within the console and VERY hard to see to get your cell phone plugged in on a daily basis. The seats are hard and not comfortable on long trips. The batteries are very expensive to replace. I will not be buying another Prius until the change the exterior design, fix the display so it can been seen during the day and relocating the cell phone plug in to another location that is easier to get to.

Perfect for my needs

My second Prius. Trim level 5 has all the goodies . Only lacks a place to mount my cellphone and to accommodate a trash container. Love the fuel economy!

Love the fuel efficiency and cargo space

Not only does this vehicle get 40 to 50 mpg, but it is actually really quick on the uptake and I frequently beat other cars off the line at stoplights. While it does have a minor lag from the hybrid engine, it is barely noticeable. I have the Prius 4, which has the back-up camera and a beautiful interior. I love the solar panel that circulates air through the car during the day, which severely reduces the heat in the vehicle, especially because I live in New Mexico. The cargo space is surprisingly big and can fit a lot of stuff. I came to this car from a Subaru Forester, so there is a definite difference, but I have not had any problems transporting anything. I was very cautious when selecting this car and looked at tons of reviews before making a decision. The Prius is safe, reliable, good for the environment, and all around a great vehicle. Highly recommend.

Great at what is designed to do!

This is am excellent car for what it's meant to do: city driving at great fuel economy. The third generation Prius is a huge improvement over the second generation (up to 2009). It's roomier, handles better and has a higher level of features. The GPS is great and it is a perfect size for city driving. Seats and driving position are OK, probably not a good fit if you're over 6 feet though, and the back seats are roomy for a small car. This is the ideal city car.

2013 Toyota Prius

The Toyota Prius greatly exceeded my expectations! There was alot more leg room than I thought (I am 6' 1'' with long legs). The seats are fairly comfortable. Most people think it's hard to have the gauge cluster at the center of the dash, but it's actually easier. I adjusted to that almost immediately. The leg room in the back is astounding! With my front seat adjusted for me, I have almost 4-5'' of room between the back of the front seat and my kneecaps! The head room is good too! The performance is fairly good. It takes it a moment to "get up and go" but if you have to jump to 55 mph, it can do it. The exterior and interior styling are good. It does scream "hybrid," but the mpg, and everything else kinda make up for that. :-P I just got the vehicle, so I can't say reliability, however, I have heard that if you treat them right, they should last for a looooooonnnnnngggg time.
