Great mileage and surprising performance

The car has great legroom, good headroom, and lots of power all while delivering 50+ mpg. The interior styling is very comfortable and the audio system connects via bluetooth but there are also multiple plug in options and charging locations.

Odd problems which make are issues

The car has had 2 major issues: We have had a nightmare with 6 flat ties in our first 18 months (5 nails or objects in our tires and one poor repair by the dealer), and the 2016 Prius does not have a spare tire! The kit they give you to inject some kind of gel into your tire so you can drive anywhere, ruins the tire and the sensor for tire pressure - so using it costs a lot of money. To add insult to injury, with our 6th flat tire, the tire is ruined and there are NONE in Seattle, so we need to wait 2 days to get a tire from Portland, OR. We are going to replace these tires and plan to buy a wheel (??? $250 or more) so we can have a spare in our garage. No one told us there was no spare tire. and some of the service people at the dealership are also unaware of that problem. The second problem is that the defroster is terrible and takes a long time to work. We do not even live in a particularly cold place (Seattle).

The 2016 Prius 4 has so many technology and convenience options. It is fun to drive and has so many features to keep you safe and entertained. It was actually a pleasure to drive it home 10 hours after a recent purchase!

My 3rd Prius for a reason!

This is my 3rd Prius and I will always buy one moving forward. All of my Prius?s have been the most dependable and reliable vehicles. I?ve owned Many other vehicles but when I bought my first Prius 10 years ask, I?ve never changed. I?ve talked to other owners as well and everyone has the same excellent positive reviews! The gas mileage exceeds what the standard is and for being a tall person, the head room, leg room, and overall passenger comfort surpass any other vehicle in the same category.

Best Prius Ever

After owning a Generation 2 Prius which was the best car I ever owned, I decided to get a new one after 10 good years. I had been talking to my wife about another Prius and we walked into the Toyota showroom and a left over 2016 Prius 4 in black was sitting there. It was a new car even though the 2018's were out. We bought it the next day and after a month of driving it I can't believe the difference between it and my old one. It is way more refined in looks both inside and out. It gets much better gas mileage, rides and hanles better and the interior is way more pleasing than my old one. The difference between the older ones is like day and night.

Bought a 2016 Eco

I bought my '16 Prius Eco out of state in the last week of 2016. I paid $20,124, excluding TTL paid to my state. I suspect the price I paid was pretty good, and was likely due in part to the end of year purchase. I never form a final opinion on a vehicle until I have owned it for 10 years, but I have been 100% satisfied so far. I'm getting just over 70 mpg (yeah, I said SEVENTY), although I am guilty of hypermiling sometimes when there are no other cars around. I hope to go on a 70 mph trip soon to see what it will get on the open road.
