2006 Toyota Sienna consumer reviews

Very reliable family car. Other than services and maintenance, I have never had to go to workshop or dealer.

I can't overstate how awesome this car is. Lots of interior room for people / stuff, the ability to tow 3500 lbs, AND a ton of bells and whistles? I don't feel like a frumpy mom with this iteration of the Sienna. Instead, I feel spoiled and happy when I'm behind the wheel. Add in the fact that it's a Toyota and has one of the best reliability records around...definitely a great purchase!

If I needed a vehicle to carry kids around or adults for that matter, this vehicle is extremely comfortable and reliable.

Our old 1999 Sienna has 314,000 miles. We have only had to do basic maintenance on it. The leather seats are disintegrating, but the engine goes strong. That's why we decided to invest in another Sienna. We found a 2006 with 66,000 miles and plan to keep it another 10+ years. Check your years, do your research.2006 is great. 2007 is problematic. 2008 is excellent. Overall Sienna is a reliable and low maintenance vehicle. It rides like a fluffy loaf of bread and can haul an enormous amount of people and stuff. The 2006 has a ton of interior room. The LE model is comfortable and has plenty of practical features. Gets about 20 MPG all the time.

So dependable and comfortable, even for a family with 4 growing boys plus a large dog. We've taken it on many long vacations around the country and to countless soccer games.

Always ready. Seats in hauls 6 easy. Seats out me, three big huskys and work tools. Great for long trips. Plenty of room for a nap in back. More its been so wonderful. Feels and drives like new. Box w motor. V6 loves cross country drives. Always ready. Good in snow. Cold -30. Love it

Wonderful vehicle. I kept it for 11 years and put 175,000 miles on it. Never in that time did it require any service other than scheduled maintenance. The car ran as well after 10 years as it did when new. It had decent power and excellent handling for a minivan. It was comfortable and suited to all kinds of uses, from carrying 7 passengers to carrying antique furniture we purchased. I loved the car, but decided not to press my luck and keep it any longer. Traded it in last week.

Toyota is the most dependable vehicle ever owned. After driving the Fords etc., the Toyota Sienna was by far the best value for my money. It is solidly built, quiet, and smooth. The ride is like a Lexus and it handles almost like a sedan. It's just the right size, has very comfortable seats and is loaded with technology! Excellent vehicle to own.

It served us well over these years until it became too small for our growing family. Practical for transporting people and/or stuff.

This Sienna has been our family truckster for the past 7 years. My wife and I both enjoy the comfort and spacious interior of this minivan. We've clocked almost 100K miles so far and going strong. Normal maintenance items being replaced as recommended (ie. filters, oil changes, brakes, tires). The side door module has been given an extended warranty, with no issues at this time. Our only complaint is the five speed transmission. While we've had zero mechanical issues with the transmission, although it seems sluggish to shift at times. Thus slowing down the acceleration of the minivan and the performance suffers. We can load up the back with whatever is needed for the day and there's still room for a trip to the food store... We are planning on purchasing a replacement minivan in the future for the family since we enjoy the space and comfort.
