Great off-road
Surprisingly comfortable ride, comfortable interior but may not be a good fit for large men. Interior seems to be with good fit and finish.

Nice Truck so far
I have had my Toyota Tacoma for a few weeks now. I used to own a Ford Explorer. So far so good. It's good on gas and rides very smooth. Great 4 weel Drive. The truck can go anywhere. This truck has a 5 foot bed, which is an upgrade from the 4 foot bed that I had in my Explorer.

Poor quality
Thin and poor paint, as well as the clear coat. You guys need to read your rust coverage warranty, it's a joke. Poor engine and transmission match - they should have went with v8 and 6 speeds vs smaller engine and more gears - now it is gear hunting and mpg is bad. Road noise-wind noise is not acceptable - chevy/Honda is better.

2.7 Liter 4 cyclinder
Downsized from big V8 Tundra, and I certainly love the ease of parking and it does ride better. With the little 2.7L motor, you need 89 octane gas, K&N air filter and to ONLY use "sport mode" and shift around 3,000 rpm or more. After about 3,000 miles the engine started making better power and I have grown fond of it. Think of it as an underpowered sports truck and drive it in the right gear/rpm at all times. If you use the regular automatic you will not be a happy camper.

Stylish, comfortable, great reputation
It's my 2nd Tacoma. has a quiet ride, good pulling power, cruises on interstates easily, meets all my needs. Only negative is low mpg but I understood that when purchased.

Second Tacoma I've owned
This is the second time I have purchased a Toyota Tacoma. I have the 2010 model with a 5 speed and now the 2017 has a 6 speed. Love them both!
