The best small pick up truck around
This truck is awesome. I have the TRD OFF ROAD trim with 4wd and feel comfortable knowing that my truck has the features and the power to get me out of any situation and gives me opportunity to have fun in. There’s a lot of after market parts out there for the Tacoma’s too which make it easy to customize. The towing capacity is more than I expected, but still could be better with more trailer control options with the “tow package”. Would also appreciate an option offered for leather seats with heating and cooling at a lower trim level than the limited or TRD PRO like other manufacturers do. I also wish that it had lane assist instead of lane warning standard like it does in smaller cars and SUVs. The automatic high beams could also be “smarter”, as it’s way too sensitive with traffic signs and people think I’m flashing them. It would also be nice if it had the illuminating corner technology that the RAV4 and other vehicles at this price point have. I like the keyless entry and lock, but wish I could grab any door handle and have it unlock/lock instead of just the front passenger and driver. The remote start is a cool feature but it turns off upon opening the door with no work around or option to turn it off. It’s convenient to use the app to remote start, but compared to Ford, Chevy, and others, it lacks in capability and price. You have to pay almost $10/month just to keep the remote start feature, unless you go aftermarket. It would make more sense if that $10 dollar a month fee was for the wifi hot spot, navigation AND remote start. Especially with this being a $40k+ truck. Toyota usually takes its time to master things before making it standard, so I don’t hold all of that stuff against them, but it’s something I will definitely look for in future models and will probably trade it in when it happens. But other than that, given Toyota Truck’s ruggedness, comfort, and track record for reliability, I do not regret my purchase.

From a long line of dependable vehicles
Bought the Taco to replace a aging 4Runner. Excellent vehicle and far superior to the Ranger, Denali and Colorados I test drove. Truck is sharp and crisp in its handling and feels solid. I hope to get 15 years of great service from it as I did my 2006 4Runner. The infotainment system is very responsive and is easy to learn and use. I bought the Limited Midnight version and the only thing I think is left out is having power seats for the passenger and a heated steering wheel.

Longest lasting truck I’ve owned
Had a 2009 that I could’ve kept using that never had any issues and still ran great. Just wanted a newer, updated model so bought a 2021. Love my new ride! It even rides more smoothly than my first Tacoma.

GREAT Trucks!
My wife bought a 2020 Tacoma TRD Sport in May. We did a couple trips from Florida to the Tennessee Smokey Mountains hauling a 3,500 lb Utility trailer. Drove through clear, rainy and snow conditions on Interstate, highway, and gravel roads with Zero issues. We like it so much that I bought a 2021 Tacoma TED Off-Road.
