Over the 20 years we’ve owned this car it has been absolutely trouble free, never left us stranded. Very reasonable fuel mileage @25-26mpg. The out of pocket maintenance expenses are unbelievably inexpensive. My wife calls it her “bunny” car and even though she owns an MDX she loves the sporty drive of her 6 speed manual V-Tec RSX-S

This car is eye-catchingly beautiful and attracts attention wherever I drive it. It is also blazingly fast as confirmed with a recent 170+ mph blast around the road course at Daytona International Speedway. Even at such elevated speeds, it is extremely confidence-inspiring with rock solid stability and directional control. On top of all that, it is quite comfortable and maintenance is reasonable for an exotic car. It is also Honda reliable! The interior is well laid out and attractive. For a car that sits as low as this one, it has good headroom (I am 6' 1"). The seats are supportive without being intrusive. On the track, one gets the lateral support needed, but never with any discomfort. My only beef with the interior is the controls for the audio system. They are not user friendly, even though they would be familiar to most Acura owners. The flip side is that the (upgraded) sound system is very good--once you figure out how to turn it on and select what you want to hear. The carbon-ceramic brakes are simply phenomenal. At Daytona, I was braking from over 160 mph before the chicane and the car always stayed where I pointed it with no wiggles. It did not seem possible to make them fade--in fact they performed better when they warmed up. This car makes no pretense about being a family car. It a true exotic sports car and notwithstanding its excellent interior comfort, it is very much performance focused. Cost effectiveness is pretty much dependent on one's perspective and purpose in owning such a vehicle. It actually gets decent mileage when driven "normally." I get between 23 and 25 mpg on the highway. This goes down to 6 mpg on the track! While I loved my 1991 NSX, this car is in a different league and I can't see myself selling it even though I could do so at a profit.

I bought my RSX Type S new in 2006. I was told I received the last Blackhawk Night Pearl Type S in the Eastern US. I fell in love upon first seeing an RSX on the road and just had to have one! I still own my little gem and enjoy it on the days I don't have the kids in tow. It's beautiful to look at and incredibly fun to drive. You can shift gears with a flick of the wrist in this car and it is so smooth. A few years into my ownership, I upgraded the head unit and now have a bluetooth-compatible audio system with GPS. This upgrade has brought the car into the 2020's! The only downside to still owning this car is that the backseat is very small for passengers. The storage space is amazing, though, because the rear seats both fold completely flat. Overall, this is an excellenet car that has given me no major issues at all.

I have owned 4 acura Rsx-S from 2001 to 2004 they are all rock solid cards, mechanically unstoppable , only down side is rust. But if you can find a clean one it'll run until the end of time with proper maintenance even if heavily abused.

A hatchback....that you cannot find no more......it has 151,000 km and runs just fine.....not much repairs yet......I just love this car....I canT put my mind to sell it....I still think the model is beautiful.....and still when I look at it I still think it's a very good looking car....to my taste....

Bought this car as a daily driver to save miles on my Raptor. It was a great purchase and still drives like a champ despite having 108k miles on it.

I had called Auto Connections early one morning to inquire about a car I’d seen on Cars.com. A nice gentleman named Stu answered the phone. I really didn’t expect anybody to be at the facility as it was only 8 am. We had a wonderful conversation about growing up in Seattle, life in general, and lastly about the car I was interested in. About 30 minutes into the conversation I asked what his relationship with the dealership was? (I had assumed he was on the maintenance staff or the cleaning crew) To my Suprise he told me he was the owner, along with his partner Keith. I told him I’d be there in 5 hours and he said Keith would be waiting for me. Upon arriving at the dealership and entering the building I was totally floored! A collection of the most amazing vehicles I had seen in a long time. The next more impressive than the first, all beautiful and in pristine condition. I looked around and nobody was in the building which I found quite odd. (Most dealerships the sales staff swarms you). Finally I found a gentlemen in a back office, his name was Keith. What a wonderful individual. We drove the car around for several blocks and returned to the dealership. Keith provided the information about the vehicle, a CARFAX, what they had checked on the car and answered every question I had. Very comfortable individual to deal with. I was sold! We agreed upon a price and I told him I’d be back in the am with a check. There was no pressure to sign anything just a handshake, trust has been established. The next morning I met Stu the other owner. He was a wonderful gentlemen and we had a nice conversation. Doing my research that evening, I had discovered some issues with this particular vehicle and had gone down a Rabbit Hole on the internet. I made my concerns heard by Stu and he reluctantly gave me a few more hundred dollars off the price of the vehicle. This was both unfair to Keith, whom I had agreed to on a price, and to Stu who hadn’t been in on the prior days negotiations. When my wife and I returned a few days later, I returned the extra monies to Stu and apologized for my selfish behavior. I asked him to also sincerely apologize to Keith as we had made a purchase agreement. I couldn’t be happier with my purchase and my experience with Auto Connections. The car was made ready and any detailing and issues were addressed by Shane, the most grifted detail man in the business. This gentlemen is truly amazing at what he can do for a car. He went the extra 100 miles, even sanded the headlights for a clear beautiful look. Auto Connections covered all their bases and have the experience to truly find the car of your dreams. When dealing with Auto Connections please remember you are purchasing a “used car”. Nick and his brother were awesome. Nick is mellow, no pressure, but absolutely professional. I tested him with a few things I'd learned from You Tube and he was right on top of it. We talked for a while and I found out Nick is a family man. In fact, the business name is derived from his son's first name. And yep, he gave me a real good deal. I drove my 2001 Acura CL 3.2, (my dad's "hand me down") to a fun, reliable flawless 184,000 miles before selling it yesterday. I already miss it, and 22 years later, hoping to find a late model Acura, or any model that will give me comparable performance and feel.

I bought a 2008 Toyota Corolla in January and have been pleased with the purchase. The car was clean ( a little to perfumy smell ) and has run well to this point.

I used to own a 2004 Acura RSX & regret getting rid of it. It?s still in the family. But anyways this car is the most reliable I ever owned, it currently has 250,xxx miles on it & everything on it is original besides the AC compressor. This car is extremely fun to drive. You?ll be surprised a lot of people find this vehicle attractive, I wouldn?t lie about it cause I still want it back! The only problem I had with the car which we still do is its headlight it?s always burning out. Doesn?t matter what I put even LEDs I don?t know if it?s something with the wiring or what, but I am still working on finding out why they burnt so fast, it seems like it?s just the H1 bulbs in general that have the problem or the way they did the connection.

For the price, technology, comfort, reliability and warranty is the best supercar I've own! better than a 570s, Huracan, 458 period and Acura will actually honor their warranty no questions asked. In my case a 60k repair was fully paid for by Acura, the NSX never gives me any problems, it actually works.

Bottom line cost hurt but with over 100,000 miles and a great service rep (Carry) I understand. Like the way you flag upcoming needed repairs. It allowed me time to budget them in. Five star all the way.

If you are any sort of car enthusiast then you will love driving one of these, but I'd highly suggest you get the more sporty Type S model. That is the one I own and it has 40 more HP than the base model which you can definitely feel the difference in power. I bought mine at 150K miles with 2 previous owners and they kept the car in phenomenal shape both aesthetically and mechanically speaking. These are Honda engines so if you keep up with basic maintenance the engine will last for a VERY LONG time. The car is relatively rare and has timeless styling. I get compliments on it regularly from teenagers and all the way up to 70+ year old senior citizens. When this car eventually dies on me (hopefully WAYYY down the line) I'm either going to buy another RSX Type S or a Honda Civic Si. Regardless, this car sold me on Honda engines, specifically the K20 and I'm never turning to anything else. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED CAR!!!!
