I purchased a used 2018 Acura MDX Feburary 2025.I have owned it for just over a month. Driving and handling are very solid. The interior is great--especially the seats. You will read several folks discussing the entertainment system and other controls. Really nice features, just learn how to use them correctly. The only issue I did not like was the "lane assistance" feature--so I turned it off. If you are in the market for a luxury SUV go test drive one yourself. Price, quality, and reliability are hard to beat.

Great bang for the buck. I went with the Advanced package. Lots of convenience features like heated steering wheel, automatic dimming hi beams, adaptive cruise control, etc. Touch screen would be nice but I use Android Auto so most of what I do is voice command. Regardless, the touch pad is pretty easy to learn. Handles great. Sport Mode is fun to drive with SH-AWD and Adaptive Suspension. Looked at Mercedes, BMW, Audi, Lexus and Infinity. Reliability was near the top of my list so that eliminated Infinity and the 3 German cars. Just put $4500 into my wife's BMW for various repairs and wanted to try to avoid doing that with my SUV. Also wanted something to last 200K or more. Liked the Lexus but even the F Sport left me feeling like I wasn't connected to the road. That was what I liked about the Acura, it was fun to drive.

We recently purchased our 2nd vehicle from Honda of Ocala. Thanks to Eli Williams, Mike Vironet and Video Brown, our 2nd purchase was even better than our 1st experience which was outstanding. These 3 gentlemen were courteous and professional. All 3 were and on point delivering answers to questions, and addressing any concerns and issues. There were several outstanding "to be done" tasks after our purchase. As promised, all were addressed within days after we drove our HR-V off the lot. Speaks well for the integrity and character of the team. If you're looking to purchase a Honda, I'd seriously consider Honda of Ocala. And do not hesitate to ask for Eli, Mike or Video. They know what they're doing. They'll take care of any and all of your needs and automobile requirements.

Purchased a 2020 Acura MDX in August 2024. Very reliable, luxury, decent on gas that has a nice V6 engine. I like the 2 screen display, the on and off button for the radio is fairly cheap. Love the LED front lights! So far so good!

Rex is outstanding. He recently sold me a new 2025 CR-V. He was very helpful and genuinely warm and friendly. He arranged for me to drive it home to see if my handicapped husband could get in and out of it easily. It was perfect and I purchased the car. After driving it for a month, I became concerned of a possible steering issue and notified Rex. He immediately fit me in to repair and couldn't have been more accommodating. I have the Acure RDX Aspec Advance. The car is absolutely gorgeous. The interior and exterior are stunning. The details inside are perfect for any car lover. The red stitching on the black leather adds just a touch of color. It’s extremely comfortable, seats have 12 way power, you can extend the bottom of the seat for longer legs, (no more pressure points while driving), the lumbar adjusts up, down, side to side. The interior accent lighting adds a nice glow to your evening rides and has 27 different color combinations. The car handles like a dream. Sport mode changes how the car handles, accelerates, brakes, the steering becomes more responsive, and handles the curves. Normal mode, makes a nice smooth ride. Comfort mode is perfect for highway driving and I haven’t been able to test snow mode yet but I’m sure it’ll be a dream. The information display gives you everything you need to know at the scroll of the button. Everything is voice activated, no need to ever worry about the touch pad, although I love that feature as well. When the adaptive cruise control is set, the car keeps you centered in your lane. The blind spot warnings are extremely accurate, lane keeping assist, warns you when getting too close to the lines before gently moving you back over, the forward braking works like a dream whether a car, person or even an animal. The heads up display is perfect especially if you have the navigation going, it give the up coming turns right on your window shield, along with the current speed limit (which changes as soon as it recognizes a speed limit sign). The RDX is a dream to drive, sit in and play with. It’s just a gorgeous car. With the sport steering while, sport mode, shift mode and the sport paddles, it feels like you’re driving a race car. I was worried going from a 6 cylinder to a 4 cylinder but with the turbo, I think the RDX has better pick up, then my 2020 Blazer.

Like other reviews I love this car! Comfortable, stylish, it’s inherently a Honda so likely reliable. Gas mileage not great but better than MDX of the past which weren’t nearly as fun to drive! Highly recommend this Acura. Haven’t owned one since I had a 2008 TL but I have the same happy feeling whenever I drive it, now in a very different life stage!

Yes, I had a very good experience at Sam Galloway?s dealership in Fort Myers ,Florida. They did quite a bit of work on my vehicle which was unexpected because I was just there to get the recall work completed and oil change and air filter for engine and all three wipers changed out? But needed replacement work on CV drive axle and boot. And I very much appreciated all the work and all the explanation of the work that needed to be done and the costs beforehand.. Tina, the service representative had done a fabulous job of getting all the costs and pictures of all the work that needed to be completed on my vehicle and came to me each time and explained everything very well and was very patient with my decisions? I definitely appreciated that very much, with a considerable amount of money to finish those repairs? Thank you so much Tina, for being very kind and patient and excellent service person? Overall great vehicle. Bought with tech. Package couple grand. Navigation programming too complicated due to go through procedures. Really did not need tech. Package. Would not buy tech again. Don’t use most of the elements provided.

We’ve owned Acura’s since 1991. Have had sedans and SUV’s. Both MDX and RDX. This is the best one yet. The technology is unbelievable. The ride is superb. The comfort and roominess are second to none. The safety features are remarkable. Can’t say enough about this vehicle.

Several months ago I traded my 2007 Honda Ridgeline for a new Honda Ridgeline at Stevenson Hendrick in Wilmington, NC. My salesman was Tyler Coyle. I was very impressed with his ability to communicate in an effective low key manner. It felt like I was talking with an old friend from the beginning. He was knowledgeable about his products. He and management were very reasonable in valuing my trade-in and the entire purchase. Overall this was the most pleasant car buying experience I've had in 50+ years of buying and selling my personal cars.

An Acura is a good car, and the price and features are luxury class and comparable to Audi, BMW, Lexus, Volvo, Infiniti, etc. But where you buy your car / service your car matters, and the Sterling McCall dealership is NOT recommended at all. I was treated 10x better at a Honda Dealership with my last purchase, yet an Acura was supposed to be a luxury or upgraded level of professional service; Not even close.

Great dealership. Felt no typical pressure but only, how can we help. Were greedted professionally and with courtesy. They did everything to make the deal work. We worked with Braden - he was very nice and let my wife know she could leave for a few with the kids to grab lunch while they got the deal done. By far the best experience and I worked in the car business. Braden is a great kid and salesman. Staff is friendly and the finance manager was a great guy. Last name Mosley, very courteous and professional. The facility is gorgeous and very clean, snacks for the kids and donuts in the am. We will be back here for sure. I have the 23 Acura MDX SH-AWD I love the ride and looks of it. I wished I would have bought one a long time ago . Just wished it got better gas mileage. But for a V6 aspirated engine. I shouldn’t complain. It’s comfortable, handles as good if not better than the Atlas I had.

My review is all positive. Particularly we LOVE the Sound proofing inside the car. Only negative is it is GAS HOG! It is BIG and sometimes I feel bulky. All the features are sometimes difficult to remember how to do what. Navigation system is "goofy" at times claiming it does not have such listing..
