I've started by having previously a DB7 1997 MY 3.3 litre 6 cylinders, which I kept until I suffered a hip replacement surgery seven years ago, and due to the pain going in and going out of the car, I finally decided to sell it. But always having in mind the Aston Martin I've always wanted: the DB9. Which I lately and finely got one, a 2007 produced, in perfect conditions, same colour as the previous DB7 (metallic dark grey) and 55.000 kms on the clock. This car is a joy. And I recommend heavily any one who is getting the idea and the possibility of acquiring one, not to lose the opportunity. By the way, you don't have to be shy: it is a head turner - all the time - and even more, you can find more that some one taking photos with his or her camera while you drive that magnificent car. Of all the Aston Martin DB series cars, this is the least expensive to purchase and, per Hagerty's weekly review, is likely to appreciate. Amazingly, it looks just like all the Astons that superceed it. The car can't be beaten for looks, reliability, comfort, the sheer thrill of the ride and, last but by no means least, the looks of envy you get from all you overtake. Please remember, the low, low mileage, previous celebrity ownership and having just been inspected and serviced by the local Aston martin dealership.

I have owned my 2007 V8 (manual) Vantage for 3 years now and I have almost 34000 miles on it. I have not had any mechanical issues with it. It still has the original clutch in it and it does not appear to be weak in any way. This car has never been raced or mistreated but I would say that most of them have been well cared for by their owners. They are special cars. My funniest experience was one day I was setting in a parking lot in my Aston and a guy walked by while I was getting out of the car. He looked it over real closely then he stopped and said "that is the best looking Chrysler that I have ever seen" (he said that because the Chrysler badge resembles the Aston Martin badge). He asked what model is it and I said it isn't a Chrysler it's an Aston Martin. He then said NO xxxx it's absolutely gorgeous. One other thing. I have had other special cars and my wife could care less about them. This car however she loves. We take short 2 or 3 day road trips in it and she enjoys it very much. The other day I told her I was thinking about buying a Ferrari and she said your not getting rid of the Aston are you. I told her no I was not.
