The 2011 R8 Spyder is the best car I've ever driven. It's fast, comfortable and beautiful, even after 10 years. This car has aged about as well as any car I've ever seen.

Good luck getting yourself to take this car on the road, it feels less like a car and more like art. Interior could've been nicer for the price, even though it felt like a highkey sports car. Luxurious brown leather would've been nice. The inside was nice, but not my style. Didn't purchase, so don't have much experience with the R8, but from what I dealt with, applying to the Audi R8, I loved this car so much. Wish I had the funds to purchase.

The car it's all what you can dream about an R8 V10 5.2L. The worlds here are useless.. You need to try it to know what I;m talking about.

I recently purchased A 2018 Alpina B7 from Ray at Motor Cars Of Chicago. When I purchased the car I made it clear to Ray that I was going to be in need of the title in ASAP fashion – Ray said I’d have the title within two weeks and boy did I just like he said he fulfilled the promise he made no questions asked. Also on the way home after taking delivery, I had a very minor problem that turned out to be a bad battery. Ray was unaware of when we took delivery of the car – Ray didn’t hesitate he reimbursed me for the batteries I had to have installed at the BMW dealer by the BMW dealer. He said the car was flawless and he stood behind that statement. Ray is very straightforward and no xx perhaps not full of warm fuzzies for everyone but a great way to do business, especially in the luxury and highline car business. I find Ray to be honorable direct and stand up and we’ll do business with him again if I had any reservations about doing business with them before this transaction, they are all completely gone and yours should be too. Love it! It’s a great combination of traits without any compromise. Exotic looks, Amazing interior quality, Tons of power, and the handling is very nimble and steering is really good, much better than I anticipated and I came out of a lotus with amazing handling. The R8 is a blast to drive and even my wife loves it. 610HP but it never feels scary, just planted and confidence inspiring. Car feels smaller than it is and feels lighter than it is. Was amazed at its nimbleness.

I have the V10 R8 coupe in silver. This is an excellent sports car and is true value for the money. The handling is superb as are the brakes and the overall balance of the car is confidence inspiring. I have have had other well known sports cars (the usual suspects) and most are high maintenance nightmares. The R8 is a highly engineered car best suited to be driven by drivers who know how to drive fast and who know how to get the most out of the machinery. If you want a high performance and not too common on the road sports car, get this. I have no regrets - I love mine.

Power might be limited for a very-high-performance / almost exotic two-door, but Audi's flagship sports car's competitors are at least $60,000 more. These include the Mercedes-Benz SL65 AMG, Mercedes-Benz CL63 AMG, Lamborghini Gallardo, and Ferrari F430. Let's get specific. (2009 prices) The R8 is $114,000. The SL65 AMG is $200,000. The CL63 AMG is $192,000. The Lamborghini Gallardo is $177,000. And yes, the Mercedes SL63 AMG is way less expensive than the SL65, though it's still pricier than the R8, and it gets to 60mph in 4.5, compared to the R8's 4.1. The car is very luxurious, with standard features including a voice-activated navigation system, heated and cooled leather steering wheel with radio, climate, and navigation system controls, remote start, seat and foot massage, and so much more. The Corvette ZR1 might be $6,000 less and get to 60mph in 0.7 seconds faster, but it's not nearly as nice as the R8. Looking performance, luxury, safety, and pricewise, you will not find a better sports car for $114,000.
