By sheer chance i ended up buying a 2003 Quattro as the BMW i had spent more time in the workshop i got sick of getting loan cars so i bought it and just loved it being 13 years old it still was quick and lots of fun to drive. So when the BMW was repaired i decided to sell it and look for a upgrade in the TT. Well i found a 2010 MY11 TTS what a car its attention to detail comfort and options plus power was amazing a huge step up from the 2003 version as you would expect. However i have had some nice BMW, most M speed cars but for me BMW has lost their edge in delivering quality and reliability. So never thought or even considered an AUDI but so far can't fault the TTS Coupe.

Cheaper than a Porsche, and arguably just as good or better looking. You won?t find a better looking package inside and out, with the kind of performance a TTS offers at its price point.

I should give a little background of my perspective. I am a quazi-audiophile that listens to many styles of music but Jazz is my primary go to music. I like a car that's not too noisy/loud but has a nice more subdued exhaust note and suspension that's not overly firm. You might say I'm a sporty GT kind of guy. I've owned Mercedes and BMW coupes and have test driven Porsches, Jaguars, the Genesis G70, Infinitis, Hyundai Veloster N, Alfa Romeos, Vettes, the new Mazda MX-5, and of course the new BMWs & Mercedes. To my eye there's a simple yet sporty and sophisticated design ethos to the 2019 Audi TT Coupe. It's one of the more "timeless" designs on the market today and Audi has done a great job with it's current revision of the TT. THE INTERIOR: I think the interior became the benchmark in 2016 in its class by integrating Audi's Virtual Cockpit with an all digital display allowing full integration of Google maps and by incorporating the HVAC controls into the turbine style air vents. For 2019 Audi includes Audi's Phone Box that hides large cell phones, can connect with compatible phones automatically with NFC wireless connectivity and connects to Audi's car antennae to boost your phone's signal! The Bang and Olufsen 680 watt 12 speaker 14 Channel Sound System does a respectable and should satisfy most listeners with the exception of those who demand over accentuated bass. I'm 5'7" and stocky and found the cabin for a sports car to be relatively easy to ingress and egress. The steering wheel had a lot of extension to it and the although the seats in the S-Line Competition package opted TT were confortable, with my 250lb frame with thick football player thighs, I thought that anyone larger than me might feel the seat bottom bolsters just a little too snug but I didn't drive a TT without these sport seats. Everything was ergonomically good with 2 exceptions. 1. The 2nd cup holder was under the armrest which is not overly large to begin with and set a little further back than most. 2. I thing the back button location should be switched with the menu button so that your thumb can be used for the back button. It would be nice if Audi could do an optional glass roof like the one in the Mercedes SLC which uses a switch that disperses magnetic particles sandwiched between 2 layers of glass to let light in. The 22 cu. ft. of available luggage space with the rear seats down sets the TT apart from its direct competitors. The back seat is strictly for children or stowing things. RIDE & PERFORMANCE: The 2016 Audi TT Coupe reached 0-60 mph in 5.2 s and a lateral acceleration of .98 g in Car and Driver's testing. Using the newly introduced for 2019 7-speed dual clutch transmission, it wouldn't surprise me if the 0-60 mph time goes down. The car is very quick and accurate and although doesn't have the heft that "track people" probably prefer, I liked it very much and feel that most "luxury sporty car" drivers will like it too. I preferred the car in the individual mode with all settings in dynamic but the exhaust in and suspension both in comfort. With this set up, the car was sporty, quick enough for my taste, allowed me to enjoy my music, and not beat me up like a corvette. It feels and sounds more refined and sophisticated in this set up compared to a Porsche Cayman. I'm just not a fan of the current Cayman's 4 cyl. exhaust note. NIGHT DRIVING: With the TT's Quattro AWD, Jazz playing on the Bang & Olufsen audio system, the TT's individual settings set to my above liking, the soft white LED ambient light strips along the door panels and center stack, along with the soft white glow mood lighting in the foot wells, selecting the sport mode tachometer view with digital MPH in the center, created a wonderfully unique sophisticated night time test driving experience that I shall always remember. I think that's perhaps the highest praise that I can give the 2019 Audi TT with the S-Line Competition Package!

There online prices include many rebates I don’t qualify for and rather than have me drive an hour just to find out we weren’t in my targeted price range and waste my time they were honest. I was very satisfied with Zaid and the rest of the staff at Twins Auto of Dublin. They have a great selection of used cars that tend be "higher end". My experience with the TTS is fantastic. Overall great daily driver, gets good gas milage all the while getting decent amount of performance. The rear seats fit smaller people or can be lowered to have more trunk space. I’ve fit a full set of wheels with tires inside the car without a passenger.

My TTS is a 911’s younger brother. Sleek, sporty and fast for a 4 cylinder. The MMI is forward in its design and easy to use. Only one suggested improvement, wish the TPMS would show actual tire pressure! Otherwise, what a fun car!

I purchased a C8 convertible about 1 1/2 years ago from Autoboom. They were clear about price and doc fee. I purchased a 3-year warranty which I never do, but the price was right and I've used it 2x for small issues and every mechanic accepted the warranty. I'm one of a few enthusiasts that doesn't see the point in locking up your pony all winter long. My TTS is loaded with all options including Nav and Premium Bose Sound. Firstly let's look at the "practical" things about the TTS. "practical" a word seldom synonomous with a " sports car " I'd like to point out that I previously owned a Porsche Boxster S. The Boxster was great top down fun Spring, Summer and Fall. Useless in the winter even with snow tires, hard top et all. Service was brutal. The Audi however is a far more refined daily driver. In the 4th largest city in North America with some of the worst traffic and weather. The 6 speed dual clutch automatic TTS is a dream. Paddle shift at your leisure . Gas mileage is outstanding in a car that does 0-60 in 5.0 seconds. Trunk space is pretty astonishing for a sports car, especially with the back seats down. Superb power, excellent handling, excellent interior fit and finsh. Love driving to work every day. Nav has included traffic ( a God send ) Remove the 19" summer wheel set and slap on 4 high quality Michelin snows with 18" rims and she'll cut through anything. Toronto had it's worst ice storm in memory in Dec. of 2013. The TTS confidently manuvered over sheer ice roads with very little loss of traction. My son's goalie equipment fits easily in the back, stick and all. Did I say the gas milage was superb? Love my TTS. Spring and Summer review to follow ... If you want a sports machine for the land of ice and snow. The TTS is one sweet ride.

My experience purchasing a used Mercedes-Benz from Lexus of Portland was great. As a “boomer” this was my first foray into online car purchase. Being old school I am used to “ kicking the tires”, not possible in this format.
