I was looking for a specific car that was at this CarMax. Problem was that I live in Minnesota, not Chicago and would have to traveling a great distance for a car I had not seen other than in pics, potentially risking wasting a great deal of time and money. I had to trust Jonathan, my salesman, to tell me the condition of the car where the pics could not. He was completely honest and the car was exactly what he said it was. Between Jonathan and Adam, the sales manager i was able to close the deal and drive back to home within an hour. I am completely pleased with the car and 100% satisfied with the dealership. A great daily driver that is comfortable, quiet, and relaxing. The tech features are low stress and easy. Always feels ready to reduce stress with spirted driving. Has a way of wrapping around you to feel like a smaller car as you drive and still be large enough to feel safe on a road full of crossovers.

Excellent performance and comfort. Rides well, quick and responsive. Hate the run flat tires, but other than that it is wonderful. I would suggest the industry not use run flat tires. Seems to have a shorter life and is a major pain if a flat occurs in a rural area.

This is my first new BMW in 10 years. Although a few touches remain the same, the car is mostly a new design. The interior is sumptuous in the cognac color; the light package allows for a change in ambiance and feeling. There are three driving modes that add to the feel of the wheel and car. The new 48 volt electrical system overcomes the stop mode so that I can pull away from a stop with smooth ease. The engine is a power house with a smooth and potent turbo. I added the larger brakes with the red calipers for stopping and looks with the 19" wheels. Very happy with the purchase.

I love this vehicle. Reliable, comfortable, powerful, always feels like it’s capable of delivering more no matter the speed or scenario. Excellent air conditioning in the swealtering Florida sun. Leather holds up extremely well, trim pieces are all still in excellent condition after years of use. Absolute joy and pleasure to drive. Comfort access, premium audio and the technology packages are a must.

Every encounter I had at this dealership he made it feel like my car was fresh off the showroom floor. His professionalism & attitude was great even when mine may not have been. I purchased the 540i xDrive with shadowline package in March 2022. The exterior is absolutely beautiful, The vehicle handles very well. Excellent acceleration. I love the option to be able to switch driving element from economy, comfort or sport. Driver assist works great; even on curves. There’s not much back seat room to move your feet, or if you have big feet, but overall a very comfortable vehicle. I can’t think of any other luxury sedan I’d select over it.

I recently bought a BMW 540i xdrive. It has ample acceleration, excellent handling on curves, a ride that is neither harsh nor floaty, and gets decent mileage. Wind and road noise are well suppressed, and the Harmon-Kardon stereo system is excellent. The built-in navigation system is also the best of those I've experienced. The trunk is adequate for vacation traveling, the rear seat folds, and there is adequate leg room for rear passengers. The only drawbacks are that the car was over-engineered with three different ways of doing almost everything: voice command, iDrive, and touch screen. The owner's manual is available online and in printed format, but the instructions are difficult to find and to follow. There are some features missing in a passenger car in this price and size segment: rear seat temperature control, and passenger seat memory. I also find the standard front seats a little narrow compared to the Volvo I had been driving.

The experience was outstanding, the salesman answered all of my questions and made the process of purchasing this vehicle a pleasurable experience.

This car is not only beautiful, inside and out, but has all the comfort and features we need and expect. Though used, it had low mileage and was in near perfect condition.

Best driving BMW. Traded in 2013 550i. Torque, acceleration, & handling of new 540 surpasses my old 550. Could use more interior storage. The seats were slightly more Comfortable in my old 550. So far, I'm impressed with the new 540.

Coming from another dealer closer to home I had discovered Fields BMW in Northfield. Their customer service is top notch to other BMW dealers I have been to and I have since taken my service and sales business here and have leased my past two vehicles with Fields Auto Group. Ask for Carrie Shapiro, senior client advisor and she will take the upmost care of you! Everyone in the service department is pleasant to work with! In the past have worked with Jerry M., Ed P, and Chris Goodrich and they all take care of you with the same level of care.

I had a great experience with Dion. He worked great withy family and I and was very thorough with explaining everything. He also did a very well job of working around our price budget.

Have put 54K miles on it since new. Fabulous ride and performance. Excellent responsiveness at high speed. The short coming is it is expensive to maintain minor annoyances to keep it perfect. Have to repair the headlight due to "Angel eye" glowing yellow! Way too costly a repair; and an obvious defect in the design of headlights. Should be a Recall, as most cars get this defect after 5 years. Also have to repair the Gibeau joining plate on powertrain line (drive shaft to Differential link). Too soon for that kind of repair. (I would expect the linkage to be good for 100K). If you service at the dealer, like I do out of convenience, everything is costly. I took out a maintenance service plan, it's worth it. (it covers oil changes, brake flushes, transmission fluids, filters, radiator flush).

I have owned the 2018 540I XDrive Sportsline model for 5 months. My overall assessment of this vehicle is that I am very impressed with how beautiful it is and drives. I have owned many Beemers in my lifetime, this model is the best ride I have ever owned
