Used BMW M2 for sale under $40,000 near me

After going to several other dealers, decided to give CarMax a try, credit has some dings, just like lots of folks these days, but they found me some financing quickly with no endless run around like other dealers. Had a serious transmission problem less than a year after purchase but the MaxCare warranty took care of it, plus provided a rental for the week they had my car, no questions or problems, only had to pay deductible of 100 on a 2200 repair. Excellent experience all the way around, I've recommended several people to them. Will definitely go back when I'm ready for my Camaro!! :-)

Getting an M2 is an easy decision. The harder part is deciding between an original M2 and a newer M2 Competition. They are both great but very different cars. M2 Competition has more power, but also a lot more weight. It drives like a little M4, The original M2 is much lighter and drives like an early 30's or 40's series M3. As far as the engine, it's not a normal N55, it is a highly modied one, the best N55 ever -- runs and sounds fantastic. Contrast that with the S55 in the M2 Competition, which is the most de-tuned version of that fine engine that you can get. Bottom line -- get an original M2, ideally a 2018 with the updated electronics, lights and dash!

I got my 2017 bmw m2 around 6 months ago. I sprung for the automatic for a faster 0-60 time plus Apple CarPlay and the executive package. I can whole heartedly tell you that this car feels and sounds amazing. It is faster than 90% of cars on the road with a 4.1 second 0-60 (automatic), and sounds amazing. Additionally the exterior is beautiful and has a timeless design. I would even say it looks better than the new M2’s available on the market. The car also handles beautifully and is perfect for a canyon road. Although some do not like the interior i personally do. Mine has a carbon fiber trim, along with m badged leather seats. It does not have bucket seats however. The interior is minimalist and timeless in my opinion. Not to much clutter and all the modern technology a car these days needs. Lastly the car has launch control for any potential racing you want to do.

The F87 M2 is the ultimate driver’s car. Perfectly weighted, great power, wonderful feel through the steering wheel and pedals. Could use a little more rubber to put the power down, but a little oversteer is always welcomed.

I wanted to go back to BMW when my Audi S4 rolled over 100k miles. I wasn't sure I wanted an M3, but the 340i just didn't have the handling and performance I wanted. Then I drove the M2 and was sold. It handles like my old 330i Performance Package car and is screaming fast to boot. Very satisfied. But, the little things are already starting to pop up. Driver's side seat belt doesn't retract. It seems like there is always something with the Bimmers.

Went in to get our truck serviced and ended up getting a great deal on a newer truck. We ended up with even more options in our new vehicle and a better deal than we expected. Everyone was very friendly and from the time we drove into the parking lot until we left, it was about 3 hours. Financing was very quick and efficient! Now I understand why BMW is the Ultimate Driving Machine. I've owned a 525, 328, 550I and now the M2. The M2 is so much fun to drive. After almost 2 years of driving this car, I get compliments every day on my car. The color, Pacific Coral Blue is unlike another. And with the DCT, I really get to feel the 386 HP when shifting. In sport mode, the deep throttle is awesome! A recommended car for expert or novice driver.

The M2 performs in every sense of the word. For the smile it puts on my face every time I get behind the wheel, I readily forgive whatever else I might have sought in a car. It’s not the least expensive, it’s not the quietist, nor is it the car with the roomiest interior I have ever owned. But who the h— cares!?

I recently purchased A 2018 Alpina B7 from Ray at Motor Cars Of Chicago.
