BMW's, specifically M series can sometimes get a bad rep for reliability and the markup in service cost if out of warranty. This couldn't be further from the truth...I've owned two f80 M3s and these things are extremely well-engineered and other than the random crankhub issues (typically caused by loose crankbolts from the factory or bad tunes that on-ramp torque too quickly) these cars are bullet-proof. I've put over 70,000 miles on this chassis and have had ZERO headaches, zero mechanical surprises and nothing but a xxxx eating grin from ear to ear each and every time I drive one. BMW did a knockout job mechanically and cosemetically with this generation F8X M3 and they've prooven to hold-up against the test of time. With petrol engines being phased out, this car is sure to continue to hold it's value!!!

Given I ordered the car with a cool optional paint color, it gets much attention wherever I go. In addition, the overall look, sound and performance enhance the attention. I have owned many performance cars over the years and to date the 2022 M3 Competition is the best car the I have owned and the most exciting and rewarding to drive.

I would buy another vehicle from Champion Motorsport Inc. I had never purchased a vehicle from a small used car lot before and I was also unfamiliar with the process of paying cash, as this was an option for me this time. The owner was knowledgeable and provided me with information about financing versus paying cash and he allowed me to take the vehicle offsite for a mechanic inspection. He also provided proof there was no lien on the vehicle. My vehicle title arrived by mail a month later from the state. Be aware they did charge a labor & transportation fee and documentation fee. Even so, I felt the vehicle was priced fairly and the dealership is trustworthy. I am happy with my purchase!

Bought car to have fun on track days with the Porsche and BMW Clubs and it did not disappoint. It pulled hard on straights and cornered like it was on rails. Great brakes too but I did upgrade.

The M3 has gotten very luxurious while losing nothing in performance. Choices abound. the car starts in comfort/efficiency mode, if you are just going to the supermarket. But two "M" buttons on the steering wheel (you set them up yourself) can quickly change that. I have M1 set up for sporty and M2 for "to the max". The seats are a bit firm. I can ask the car to cool itself via a BMW app 10 minutes before I arrive. Many things like that. The manual transmission is standard BMW, similar to my 14 year old 1M. Many options are via virtual buttons, menus, and submenus, but I got used to it faster than I expected. Through the app I can check how much gas I have and what the tire pressure is and where I've driven (you can turn that off). It can connect to the dealer for regular maintenance. It's amazing! I'm not crazy over the electric clutch, but I'm getting used to it.

After searching for months, I was fortunate to find a muscle car gem at Platinum Motorsports – a very low-mile 2001 Camaro SS 6-speed in excellent condition for being 20+ years old! I bought this 2016 Mineral white M3 Dct fully loaded with every option except extended leather in 2017 with 6000 miles on the clock. The car has been an exhilarating joy to own and nothing compares to it in its price range. Sure you can buy a Camaro, Dodge or a Mustang for less money but neither have the interior, body design, or finesse the M3 has. The DCT is second only to Porsche's PDK. Yes, I've owned and driven a lot of cars to make these comparisons. Reliability and maintenance 40k miles later has been a positive because things do not break as long as you are routine about your maintenance intervals, but remember this is a BMW so maintenance is not cheap. Would I buy again? Without a second thought I would as I prepare for purchase and the release of the G80 M3 Awd in 2021. Something the M3 is in need of due to torque of the rear wheel drive F80.

I got a lot of head nods on drive home People seem to like it. May be because the new style is eye catching I have owned other sport car. This one is my favorite.

I recently purchased A 2018 Alpina B7 from Ray at Motor Cars Of Chicago. When I purchased the car I made it clear to Ray that I was going to be in need of the title in ASAP fashion – Ray said I’d have the title within two weeks and boy did I just like he said he fulfilled the promise he made no questions asked. Also on the way home after taking delivery, I had a very minor problem that turned out to be a bad battery. Ray was unaware of when we took delivery of the car – Ray didn’t hesitate he reimbursed me for the batteries I had to have installed at the BMW dealer by the BMW dealer. He said the car was flawless and he stood behind that statement. Ray is very straightforward and no xx perhaps not full of warm fuzzies for everyone but a great way to do business, especially in the luxury and highline car business. I find Ray to be honorable direct and stand up and we’ll do business with him again if I had any reservations about doing business with them before this transaction, they are all completely gone and yours should be too.
